Spit bridge has a kayak ramp , it's the best one but need parking fee, second Tunk Park has a boat ramp, parking free, but no space on weekend. Third Davison Park, have boat ramp and plenty space and spots to land the kayak, but need National Park fee, maybe $8 / one day.

I thought all the rods should do the job, according to your target fish, and lure weight. some people like light fishing gear , doesn't matter the price, fish don't know the brand, they just curious about your action. it's not comfortable if using ultra light fishing rod to cast lure over 10g, you could choose minimum medium light rod if you like cast 10-20g, so the price is not important for fishing.
