Chasing and Railfanning the UP Big Boy 4014 + other trains over the Feather River and Donner Pass

In the middle of July, the world's largest #steam #locomotive #unionpacific #4014 visited California as part of a #railroad tour of the western US. The iconic #train visited Portola, California before traveling over the Feather River Route to Oroville and Roseville. From there, it crossed over the Sierra-Nevada via the Donner Pass to Sparks, Nevada.
We followed the #UP4014 also known as the #bigboy as it made its journey. Getting #video along the way. Here is a compilation of the #railroading and #railfanning action during the couple of days we followed Big Boy.
