One of my biggest gripes with this game was the progression implementation. Their idea is great on how to do it, but it's just too much all at once. Getting 2 survivors to unlock at the same time, with a bunch of little quests along the way can be overwhelming. And I can't remember, but I think you need to unlock the next level of the flame before you can do one of those survivors? But if you look at your list of quests, getting the next level of flame is at the bottom of your list. Things like that happened to me all the time in my first play through. Not sure if it's still the case. But come to think of it, the almighty Skyrim was pretty much the same way. You get sent off on one quest and get sidetracked by tons of stuff along the way. At least that was just 1 quest and not 3 at once, though. Again, Valheim's simplicity is what makes it more ideal in my view. Super linear progression helps those of us who are singularly focused in their methods.
@mitmon_8538 Yeah man, I remember playing Skyrim and having to sift through 23 quests to prioritize what to do. I felt like Peter griffin sometimes picking up pieces of candy. Lol. Maybe enshrouded changed some of the quest progression. I'm just gonna try and stay focused on the survivor quests for now and see how it plays out. Can't wait to see the new zones. I hear they're coming with an update with new armor and weapons. Valheim progression is great, it just seems each new biome negates the armor you previously worked so hard for. Enshrouded is definitely a more relaxed time (for now) compared to valheim and aska. Thanks for the feedback, hope you enjoyed👊✌️
@zaidhunts4170 Thanks man, game starts out nice and slow. A very welcome come down from valheim, lol. Excited to get to the new area. Thank you for this👊✌️
Thanks for posting this. I'd been kind of stuck getting my ass kicked when down by the Shroud Well, or whatever it is called, and you've inspired me to get back in there.. (And get a bit better prepped before I go back in!)
Real men dont fast travel lol You missed out on all the cool stuff in the tower, you love destroying stuff ... you want scraps remember where you blew yourself up several times ... Well that whole camp is full of scrap and its close to base too. Im level 4 now I am going to see if I can find the new zone and start my real headquarters loved the video. Oh final note the archers that followed you they now throw shroud bombs at you so you cant just snipe them like in the past. Im still doing mage here finally got a new staff GL lol
@Anvilbreaker Fast travel seems like cheating but like you say 'It's a game mechanic' lmao I'm gonna have to do a run through there again and collect all the scrap. Glad I enticed you to play again brother. Thanks for watching ✌️👊👊
