Just tried it, 6 months after this vid. It’s an insanely creative instrument in it’s own right. And the price??? Bought it for 49$. Compare that to a hardware solution… I love that moog are trying to bridge something here. A way of thinking. Introducing both limitations and hands on thinking. It’s a great way to draw interest to the hardware side. No complaints at all. Thanks for the vid!
I love it too. Made a song with it. Called Mariana. It’s the only instrument used beyond my vocals and a drum kit. th-cam.com/play/OLAK5uy_lHq3Qre2WdgwUV2HgHe5yY8VW8GAva2Jk.html&si=NtczoxveqipvgpGr
Still happy with the Korg controlling the Mariana? I just got the VST and really need the knobs! Looks like the Korg is a great instrument in its own right, but just wondering how the knob/layout of the Korg marries up to the Mariana controlls... i.e., are there enough hardware controls to match up the VST in a meaningful way? Would love to hear everyone's thoughts now after some time. Dying to get some knobs, but the cost of the Korg is too much to have a miss. Any help greatly appreciated!
It doesn’t cover all functions but enough for me to have fun and do the most important. If I want to do more in depth tweaking I’ll click around. Have you looked into other midi controllers?
@@Tiger.Arcade (from roncho9999) Looks like the Novation Launchkey is what I am going with...tons of controls and some integration with Ableton. As a side note, do you know of any sites I can share knob settings with? I am looking for some specific sounds (funk related) the learning curve is steep so I could use a leg up. Thinking about taking a class or something but it sure would be great to have more starting points than the presets.... any help appreciated man. Thanks!
No se. Tendrías que ver si es posible controlar con ello usando usb o midi. No tengo ese sinte. Deberías ver al manual. O intenta de controlarlo en su DAW con otro soft synth. Si funciona, hay una gran posibilidad que funcionará.

Nice tutorial. How do you find Mariana’s CPU usage? On my cheap PC in Ableton it seems to constantly use 40-50% CPU.
I can usually get 4-5 Mariana’s running before I start getting issues. A solution I found was to freeze the tracks once they’re how I like them.
Very cool demo man, this sounds pretty tasty to me! May give this a try! 🎧😋🐀
You can download a demo if you want to try it out ✌️

Might I suggest the beloved Behringer BCR2000.
“Friends” can you get a subscription for those? will Amazon ship them free with Prime?
Moog has done a great job with their plug-ins and iPad apps. This new one sounds interesting...
It’s a unique synth. Personally I would’ve named it Gemini to shine light on its capabilities as a twin synth or two synths working together.
Can be this done on the iPad version of Mariana?
I’ve not tested the iPad version. I know you can use physical keyboards though with tablets if you connect it correctly. Not sure about mapping.
Thank you
When digital sounds as good as analog
It really does sound amazing and this demo barely scratched the surface!
@@Tiger.Arcade yes it goes deep
I’m waiting for when analog sounds as good as digital.

Mi pregunta es, puedo controlar con el minifreak el mariana?
