"There's nowhere to run and hide When you're living to die Stuck alone inside your head, Better off dead The phone would ring in the empty house, No one's around" - my favourite part.
2:57 - 3:40 honestly some of the most depressing lyrics that came from Avenged. it's oddly uplifting to me, for I feel like someone actually understands the torment in my life. thank you Avenged for giving me comfort for the past 12 years 🖤
[Verse 1] Dust begins to fall to the ground (and you sit there and do nothing) The air is cold and thin (you're content with doing nothing) Thoughts are haunting me as I look around (but in my life, I wanted more) This will never end, (this will never end) When I'll bleed forever [Chorus] Don't acknowledge right, just dwell on wrong; This spot in hell's where I belong I've come so far - it's been so long Don't know why it started or where it came from [Verse 2] Outside shell is strong - confident (there is nowhere to run and hide) But slowly eats away (stuck alone inside your head) Like a man plagued with disease, I try to fight (guess you're better off dead) Through my pores it seems to seep (your mind bleeding) When I'll bleed forever [Chorus] Don't acknowledge right, just dwell on wrong; This spot in hell's where I belong I've come so far - it's been so long Don't know why it started or where it came from [Bridge] And you sit there and do nothing You're content with doing nothing [Verse 3] There's nowhere to run and hide When you're living to die Stuck alone inside your head Better off dead The phone would ring in the empty house No one's around [Chorus] Don't acknowledge right, just dwell on wrong; This spot in hell's where I belong I've come so far - it's been so long Don't know why it started or where it came from [Outro] But in my life, I wanted more I needed more, I taste more
Stephen Schultz I think I don't have a favorite, but Roman Sky gives me chills, and I also love Angels and Creating God, and Sunny Disposition... well, I like the whole album. The stage made an impact to me too.

That riff that kicks in at 2:03 blows my mind every time. And the Rev's rapid fire drumming right where it's needed most, like right where you instinctively feel it is needed by your innate human inclination to music makes it perfect. I'm 19 and this is what these guys were doing when they were pretty much my age? Makes me wonder wtf I'm doing with myself, haha.

Wow I've listened to this song many times over the years but it just occurred to me that the guitar solo in this song is by far one of the best I've heard from them. Absolutely beautiful!
Eternal Rest and Radiant Eclipse are probably my favourite songs on this album. Have you listened to their first album, Sounding the Seventh Trumpet? It's got a few good songs like Darkness Surrounding, Forgotten Faces and The Art of Subconscious Illusion albeit the music is less refined and there is less singing.
Matt can make anything work, metalcore with mostly all screams, hard rock, punk, classic metal, alternative they can make any style WORK. love ALL their albums, City Of Evil, Sounding the 7th Trumpet and Nightmare the MOST but they've always been great and always will be. R.I.P. Jimmy Sullivan

This without a doubt is the best song off the entire album. This album in general is extremely underrated, which to a degree pisses me off as this is my favorite album by Avenged Sevenfold
these guys (specifically this album) got me into hardcore when I was like 7. Forever thankful. M. Shadows had the best mix of harsh and clean vocals and it is a damn fucking shame that he now only sticks to his clean vocals
I started listening to City of Evil, then started listening to their other albums, but I never took the time to look at all the Walking the Fallen Songs. I was missing out! This is such a great album.
Exactly. Avenged Sevefold has had a big impact on my life. Not only is it my favorite band, but their music has helped me through some tough times. Its music has also toaught me some lessons through life. Now i may only be 16, but this music has taught me quite a lot. Along with many other bands. Avenged Sevenfold is amazing anjd i encourage everyone to listen to at least one of thir songs even if they dont like this type of music or dont like them give them a chance.
If that was Jimmy you could clearly tell, he had a very distinct lisp. It's actually Matt whispering. They're not recording the songs live, y'know :p He does whisper on critical acclaim as every a7x fan knows, and you can go an compare these two
I see dozens of lists featuring a7x's top songs and I notice that (from the ones I've read, I only went so far) NONE of them feature "Warmness on the Soul". Am I the only person that loves that song or am I the only person watching this video old enough to remember it?
Agreed, i have always wondered why that song never features on any lists, its beautifully written, the piano and zacky's solo is amazing, its just a beautiful masterpiece.
I have anxiety and depression at the same time, when I ear this song it’s basically all why I have inside of my head, live with those problems is not easy..... even if you are rich, poor, it’s always going to be there

I personally think that all of their albums are masterpieces in their own senses (not to sound like a fan boy). The first two offer epic heavy metal onslaught, wheas the later ones arer full of sound and melody. All are great; it just depends on what mood you're in.

saber que todo es pasajero es un gran consuelo
That's one of their best melodies aswell
Can't overcome your demons if you won't face them
[Verse 1]
Dust begins to fall to the ground
(and you sit there and do nothing)
The air is cold and thin
(you're content with doing nothing)
Thoughts are haunting me as I look around
(but in my life, I wanted more)
This will never end, (this will never end)
When I'll bleed forever
[Chorus]
Don't acknowledge right, just dwell on wrong;
This spot in hell's where I belong
I've come so far - it's been so long
Don't know why it started or where it came from
[Verse 2]
Outside shell is strong - confident
(there is nowhere to run and hide)
But slowly eats away
(stuck alone inside your head)
Like a man plagued with disease, I try to fight
(guess you're better off dead)
Through my pores it seems to seep
(your mind bleeding)
When I'll bleed forever
[Chorus]
Don't acknowledge right, just dwell on wrong;
This spot in hell's where I belong
I've come so far - it's been so long
Don't know why it started or where it came from
[Bridge]
And you sit there and do nothing
You're content with doing nothing
[Verse 3]
There's nowhere to run and hide
When you're living to die
Stuck alone inside your head
Better off dead
The phone would ring in the empty house
No one's around
[Chorus]
Don't acknowledge right, just dwell on wrong;
This spot in hell's where I belong
I've come so far - it's been so long
Don't know why it started or where it came from
[Outro]
But in my life, I wanted more
I needed more, I taste more

Musa Kapan There will always be questions, but if you ask with all your heart and study the bible literally how it was supposed to be, you'll gain understanding of higher ways, and how it was possible for us to even be in this now evil world
Musa Kapan same
This Song is Exactly My Life As well. No matter what I do Bad Memories Keep coming Back To Haunt Me Especially when there Bad and they Give Me Suicidal Thoughts. I wish I could Undo The Things I have Done Or There Something I could Have Done
"Better Off Dead" "I Wanted More"
the intro bit is so relaxing, love this band
First time hearing it, thought it was boring..took more time to hear it..wow, one of my favourite of A7X :)
This without a doubt is the best song off the entire album. This album in general is extremely underrated, which to a degree pisses me off as this is my favorite album by Avenged Sevenfold
Totally underrated.. This song is badass 🤘🤘💯
I've been in love with this band since I was about 14 I believe that I am obsessed with them
Make that 2:31 through 3:40 is the best part...
*0:00 through 5:00 is the best part...
tehscope24 haha...please...*00:00 through 05:01 dude every second counts:)
Nicos Constantinou So true
ahhah :p
Don't forget the riff at 2:03
these guys (specifically this album) got me into hardcore when I was like 7.
Holy fuck this song is so good. especially synyster gates guitars in the background the whole time.
waking the fallen, second heartbeat, and I won't see you pt 1 and 2
That guitar solo is so f∆cking amazinggggg

2.This one
3. Second Heartbeat

+Douglas Patten Nice, especially number three, four and five :)
lost is good but the autotune ruins it. I can't sit through the song because of the chorus.

+Douglas Patten +1 seize the day lols

It's such a good solo

Exactly. Avenged Sevefold has had a big impact on my life. Not only is it my favorite band, but their music has helped me through some tough times. Its music has also toaught me some lessons through life. Now i may only be 16, but this music has taught me quite a lot. Along with many other bands. Avenged Sevenfold is amazing anjd i encourage everyone to listen to at least one of thir songs even if they dont like this type of music or dont like them give them a chance.
ear phones will make it sound like M Shadows is right there
mosit mosit if you're talking about the whispering, that's actually The Rev 💩
If that was Jimmy you could clearly tell, he had a very distinct lisp. It's actually Matt whispering. They're not recording the songs live, y'know :p He does whisper on critical acclaim as every a7x fan knows, and you can go an compare these two
Finlantic wowow all these years I swore up and down that it was The Rev, just dug around and, Yea you're right 🙈💩
TITS Only true fans would be able to point out Jimmy's voice by his lisp I thought I was the only one
I was just having chills before I seen this comment. 😂 creeping behind me
One of their best songs
Fckin beautiful yet kinda creepy at the same time. Love it
I see dozens of lists featuring a7x's top songs and I notice that (from the ones I've read, I only went so far) NONE of them feature "Warmness on the Soul". Am I the only person that loves that song or am I the only person watching this video old enough to remember it?
Agreed, i have always wondered why that song never features on any lists, its beautifully written, the piano and zacky's solo is amazing, its just a beautiful masterpiece.
Amen, brother, amen.
the warmest of the soul is an awesome song
Yeah warmness on the soul was great
I learned the solo to it
2:03 sem palavras, amo essa banda
Those whispers at the beginning. They gives me chills down my spine.
the guitar has me all deep in ecstasy
I have anxiety and depression at the same time, when I ear this song it’s basically all why I have inside of my head, live with those problems is not easy..... even if you are rich, poor, it’s always going to be there

I am and have always been 100 percent one of A7X's biggest fans love this band and appricate every member (even the late terrific Jimmy"the Rev"Sullivan R.I.P my good dude thanks for thw music love ya A7X keep pump the kick ass tunes
I personally think that all of their albums are masterpieces in their own senses (not to sound like a fan boy). The first two offer epic heavy metal onslaught, wheas the later ones arer full of sound and melody. All are great; it just depends on what mood you're in.
Uhhhggg!!! That guitar solo! It was crying a story with just making beautiful sounds mmmmmmmmm like at ..
Edit: 2:29
O pó começa a cair, até o chão
(E você senta ai e não faz nada)
O ar está frio e delicado
(Você está contente em não fazer nada)
Pensamentos me assombram e eu olho em volta
