Don't judge a good guitarist by how fast they can play. You judge a guitarist by the way they express themselves through music. The solos that Syn makes are absolutely perfect and fit so well with the song and the emotion that it makes him on of the best.
The solo on I Won't See You Tonight Part 2 absolutely sounds like how fast you can play notes. At the same time though completely make sense as it's how people feel about loved ones who take their own lives - chaos, anger, confusion.
Second Heartbeat has a ridiculously fast solo. Still, you're right. Syn is fantastic at capturing the emotion of the song and putting it into sound. Never misses. I stopped following after Hail To The King but I'd wager he's still doing his thing.

Waking the Fallen was groundbreaking to say the least and A7X's pinnacle. Sadly, all bands reach a peak in their artistry and according to the Laws of Physics, there is nowhere to go but down after that. "NO ONE CAN TOUCH THEM!!!"
The breakdown at 3 minutes whatever gets me EVERY DAMN TIME. And syns melody during the chorus 🤌 used to listen to this song every day on the way to school
Don't judge a good guitarist by how fast they can play. You judge a guitarist by the way they express themselves through music. The solos that Syn makes are absolutely perfect and fit so well with the song and the emotion that it makes him on of the best.
And he's fast as well
It's funny you said that cause back then (this comment is 11 years old) Syn used to get a lot of shit for being very fast but not "melodic" enough.
The solo on I Won't See You Tonight Part 2 absolutely sounds like how fast you can play notes. At the same time though completely make sense as it's how people feel about loved ones who take their own lives - chaos, anger, confusion.
Absolutely. You can always feel his emotions thru his guitar. The GOAT!
Second Heartbeat has a ridiculously fast solo. Still, you're right. Syn is fantastic at capturing the emotion of the song and putting it into sound. Never misses. I stopped following after Hail To The King but I'd wager he's still doing his thing.

2:06 love this melody. sad and remind me of someone 😌😊
4:15 one of the best musical licks
One of my favorite songs all time
even after all these years 3:41 still hits me like a fuckin train every single time.
Anthony Herrera, same dude
this broke my neck because i headbang so hard to this riff
I seriously think this is the coolest song they made. The solo at the end was awesome.
2:10 i need a female cover of this on the harp. Perfect lullaby
this isn`t hopeless. this is very hopefull even. they have Avenged Sevenfold, that`s the hope that can get. there is always good music
the sound of the guitar
A primeira musica que ouvi foi nightmare e até gostei na altura com 15 anos, depois decidi ouvir os albuns todos e hoje é a minha segunda banda favorita! ^^
A minha banda favorita é System Of A Down ^^
Mas ouço todos os dias avenged ahah x)
Ando batido neste album ultimamente e no "Sounding The Seventh Trumpet"

5. Hail To The King
6. The Stage
7. Self titled

Metal is the soundtrack to my life
Wow bruh, that’s so fucking edgy
@@parkermartin5799 still is I listen to it a lot whenever I'm let's say at the gym or at school. Idk what's so edgy about something being the soundtrack of your life would you say the same thing if I said rap was the soundtrack to my life? You're here I'm assuming you like metal too.
@@comically_large_chungus Your right, I do like metal, listening to metal isn’t edgy, idk, something about the way you worded it just sounded edgy
@@parkermartin5799 it was cringe sure but not edgy
@@comically_large_chungus Cringe, Edgy, same thing
love this song
1. Waking The Fallen, City of Evil, Avenged Sevenfold, Nightmare, Diamonds in the Rough, Hail to the King, Sounding the 7th Trumpet
All of Avenged Sevenfold's albums are good, why choose just a single album for number 1?
cause hail to the king was garbage.
i don't like their sounding the 7th trumpet album
joe mama where is warmness on the soul ?
***** thats on sounding seventh trumpet
Sean Mitchell Well sorry that the Music industry doesn't revolve around you
synyster gates iconic wailing guitar tone, like the screaming of the demons of hell, makes the sound.
1) Waking the Fallen
2) Nightmare
3) An Unfortunate Snort (including pinkly smooth cos of Jimmy's vocals)
4) City of Evil
5) Self-Titled
6) Sounding the seventh trumpet
7) Diamonds in the Rough
8) Hail to the King
None of their albums are bad so difficult to even type one album lower than another cos I feel guilty lol
+Hugh Bannister yet you put a live album of songs on albums above hail to the king...
oldGnRrocks1 Diamonds in the rough although it is titled a live album contains a load of original songs so I'll keep it above HTTK
+Hugh Bannister Personally I prefer Sounding The Seventh Trumpet
that section at 4:10 through to 4:22 is my all time favourite section of a7x's music - comes from a loyal fan after 10+ years of listening...
LYRICS
Lived through you
Safe with how we lived our lives
With how it all turned out (But things are bound to change)
Uncovered lies, surfaced throughout
Will make you change your mind
Sometimes life is altered
Won't turn out right, can't turn out right
When I see you, I can read it in your eyes
Fate misunderstood (But things are bound to change)
Swallowed the lies, can't blame you for
Thinking with your heart
Sometimes life is altered
Break from the ropes your hands are tied
Uneasy with confrontation
Won't turn out right, can't turn out right
I see my world crumble and fall, before my eyes
I know, I know
Dark will turn to light, in time I'll be alright
I know, I know
I never imagined my life could turn out this way
So cold, so black, so alone
Living goes by fast, catch your breath
And it will pass you by
And it won't last, to sulk with the memories you hold
Sometimes life is altered
Break from the ropes your hands are tied
Uneasy with confrontation
Won't turn out right, can't turn out right
Sometimes life is altered
Break from the ropes your hands are tied
Uneasy with confrontation
Won't turn out right, can't turn out right
this album is so amazing, the title sums up its awsomeness And All Things Will End
Waking the Fallen was groundbreaking to say the least and A7X's pinnacle. Sadly, all bands reach a peak in their artistry and according to the Laws of Physics, there is nowhere to go but down after that. "NO ONE CAN TOUCH THEM!!!"
The stage was a good album
The breakdown at 3 minutes whatever gets me EVERY DAMN TIME. And syns melody during the chorus 🤌 used to listen to this song every day on the way to school
By far the best song on the album 🤟🤘🤟🤘
Talk about good times listening to this album with my friends. Drinking any chance we got.
I love it.
Cheers!✌🏻
this song makes me tear up for some reason lol
***** Amen
*****
You're right, live life the fullest just like how Jimmy did :(
***** My love to A7X is one of the few things I know will never end.
***** I've seen you in the comments section of almost every Waking The Fallen song XD
This song is a sad song but the melody really does it for me
