But preventing drug addiction, mental illness, and homelessness is a lot easier than trying to manage it 20 years down the line.
Homelessness is a side effect of certain people not wanting to work, and being cared for by the system as well as drug addiction. Mental health is a scam. We have it so good in this country, even our poor do. People need perspective and to learn to think about someone besides themselves. its hard. my ministry focuses on them. What drives me nuts are the folks that WANT it. Not are experiencing it-but- want that lifestyle. Dont want to work. Dont want in the system. What a choice. But its thiers to make. ugh.
this officer was SO patient.
Being homeless isn't a job, I think what he means is that getting help, getting the proper treatment, not giving in to all the negative triggers is a big job for many people who are dealing with mental issues and/or drug issues. There's also many who don't want the help that is being provided or available, you can't do nothing about that unfortunately.
@@MasthaXmaybe. I had trouble following his complaints. I know where I live we have multiple paths out of homelessness. Usually when we try to coax folks into it they run. We all want these folks to suceed but there is a difference between feeding people fish- and teaching them to fish for themselves. You cant throw money at it. We tried that. This officer did a great job of exploring it.
He is incompetent at homelessness and should be fired.
This dude seriously compared himself to Rosa Parks 🤯
To compare what he is doing to the unfathomable amount of courage Rosa Parks possessed in her time of protest is absolutely insane and shows his level of entitlement & proves he has never truly struggled. Forget jail for this dude, he’d love that, getting his own bed, laying around all day watching TV while getting 3 meals cooked & served to him, that’s a luxury hotel. This dude needs to be forced to have responsibilities hr needs to be sentenced to a year of hard manual labor outside in all the elements and even then he would just be scratching the surface of reality for people who actually struggle and have struggled.
Or...the woman waited for her coworkers to be near before she found herself in a confrontational conversation with a crazy person.
Exactly. That woman was prolly scared to ask him to leave. He’s the type of person that when u talk to him you just agree with everything he says to avoid confrontation 😂😂
Bingo. That woman was probably extremely uncomfortable and scared. That would have been very obvious in her facial expression and body language. But because this guy's social skills are non-existent, he didn't pick up on that.

"I have a unique personality type" Yeah it's called Narcissistic and it doesn't make you as special as it makes you think you must be.
At the same time though homelessness and mental health really are huge problems in this country that we really need solutions for. He's right about that. He's just doing it all wrong.
Yep. He said some correct things in between the rudeness and rambling. Of course there will always be some people who can't be helped, he seems like he has narcissism issues. But preventing drug addiction, mental illness, and homelessness is a lot easier than trying to manage it 20 years down the line.
Real problem, very wrong messenger.
Homelessness is a side effect of certain people not wanting to work, and being cared for by the system as well as drug addiction. Mental health is a scam. We have it so good in this country, even our poor do. People need perspective and to learn to think about someone besides themselves. Nothing makes you more unhappy than thinking about yourself all the time.
