50 plus years ago I had a harp teacher who was as methodical and careful at explaining and giving clearly understandable instructions. I had bad experiences with concert harp teachers who spent time denigrating my 29 string lap harp and was lucky to have a teacher who learned to play the triple harp in Wales. She was just as thorough and patient at teaching each and every step. The young people learning from you have a really great teacher.

Hello Heather. Canada girl here again. Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong? First of all, I have very small hands. Left hand - when I pluck I see my fingers circling up and then down into the palm. Right hand is fine .. thank you for the very helpful lessons.
I have small hands too. It sounds like you are pulling into the top of your palm rather than the base. Try to keep your fingers pointing down as much as possible, palm open and pull your fingers into the base of the palm. Hope it helps!!
