Replace the water pump impeller, its worn, that's why the telltale needs the ear muffs to work, not enough pressure being made in the pump. Front door, make it a stable door,
Tiny house on some pontoons so it’s a real “houseboat!” I was kinda shocked by that bathroom though, oh man, gotta have one for all the ice cold beverages!!! Thanks for the tour, hope your motor and steering work out for you and the Mrs, nice work there Zack, good to hear from you too!
Ya didn’t seem your crazy happy self this video hope all is good. Didn’t notice mr piggy is he good? Good luck on your new project’s always enjoy your videos
Hey Joseph thanks for watching. Yeah my allergies got me down. Im tired of clearing my throat and blowing my nose. Mr Wiggies is doing good. He was actually out in the yard wagging his little tail munching on stuff in the grass like always. Thanks for watching! 🍻
@@zacksrandomprojects9698 great to hear it wasn’t something really serious (not that allergies don’t suck) really hope you start filming some more (not pressuring you at all) just love your content!! Feel better my man!
Nice to see you back, nice to see around the new project. Are you putting railings round the back deck? What will you be doing with the other one? 🇬🇧🇬🇧👍👍
Hey thanks Ray! Yes I have railings for the back already cut down to size and welded. Even welded the spacers underneath like I did on the front railing. They are under my carport though so you didnt see them. I will probably do a few more things to the other boat and then try and sell it I guess to recoup some money and make room in the yard. Thanks for watching! 🍻
Hey Carl thank you for watching! Yes Sir I have a new one ready to put on. It should be in an upcoming video soon. I appreciate the comment and the advice. Stay safe out there buddy! 🍻
If you watch the other videos I made after this one you will see I couldnt get it to run and I got a deal from my buddy on an old 50hp Force for $300. I got all new cables and found an old set of controls and wire harness on ebay and got it running good. Thank you for watching!
Thanks for watching. If you watch the last video I made of this houseboat you will see I checked the pontoons for leaks at the local boat ramp, then catastrophe happened. Im actually working on the boat right now as I type this.
I like what you're doing. You've got a worthy project going on. It'll be real adequate once you get it to your likings. I mean you're wife's likings. I'm from Polk County. Looking to build me a houseboat some day
You're right about the wifes likings Shane! Lol. Thanks for watching! My other houseboat will be for sale shortly if you're interested. Have a good one!
Great video. I grew up in the 50s and 70s. Trailer park, Pensacola. Only problem with jalousie windows... kids. Had a neighbor boy come over and he leaned on them or something, I was 6, and the windows broke, he got dozens of stiches in his arms. But yeah, brings me back to when I was a kid.
No he didn’t. My grandson built it right after he got out of prison. He was down there in Willimahouchiaville and used spare parts from Willie T’s junkyard to built it proper.
I think they're about 24' long. I cant remember the diameter. They are smaller than 25" though, because my regular pontoon boat has 25" diameter, and the houseboat pontoons seem a little slimmer.
I would tear out the door widen the door frame and put in a sliding glass door. You still enter in the middle and the helm is behind plate glass from ceiling to floor no matter if the door is opened or closed.
I got one. I was gonna put it in today but Im running out of time. Im making another video as we speak that will be posted later this afternoon. Thanks for watching! 🍻
Yeah, if I wouldnt have turned it back right side up the water running down the glass would go behind the lower pane and leak water into the inner window seal. The door is under a roof overhang though so the rain would have to be blowing in sideways. Thanks for watching! 🍻
@@Pitster73 Whenever I messed up the houseboat at Lake Alto at the boat ramp, it just kinda took the wind out of my sails. I went from a super high, to a super low within a few minutes. I honestly about had a mental break down. I took the boat home and didnt even look at it for months. All I would do is move it to mow under it. Within the last few months I have pulled it around by my shop and replaced all the tore up wood on the boat that happened that day. Ive painted the whole boat also. I just need to get out there and weld the pontoons up and put new railing on the back because the port side railing was tore off the boat. Its just so damned hot here in Florida I dont wanna mess with it on my off days, I would rather take my other boat to the springs and cool off and drink beer. I will get busy on it soon though. Ive just got to get my mind right. It was a hell of a blow. Thanks for the comment. 🍻

Looking good but I’d check that impeller on the motor. It should be circulating water at any rpm.

You must not have seen the last video of it. Lol You dont want it.
Can't beat it for the price.

Anything you and your family can enjoy is worth it. But I would recommend pressure checking the pontoons for any leaks. Anything man made has issues.

What in tarnation did you sit try to say? How did you grow up in the 50’s AND 70’s? Lmao
What if you reinstalled the front door to swing inwards instead of flipping everything around.

Starting to look good' as a retired Coast Guard Boatswain Mate you do need your drain in the sink to go into another container...good luck.

Build a second closet on the other side for storage and generator and propane !

My son rebuilt that one, we have lot of pictures of it. He used an old vintage camper to redo the inside.

$3,500 huh? I learned a LOT. Thanks!
What size pontoons??
I think they're about 24' long. I cant remember the diameter. They are smaller than 25" though, because my regular pontoon boat has 25" diameter, and the houseboat pontoons seem a little slimmer.
The key switch has to be grounded to kill the engine.
