I think the expresses are the way they are because they want to ensure more train service at select stations and simplify the schedule. It also might not be possible to run these super expresses if there's a chance they might find themselves catching up to a local. Perhaps these "super expresses" will become a thing, though, once the battery EMU trains arrive and we're able to once again get through trains from Gilroy to San Francisco without a San Jose transfer.
Because they want more people to have access to more frequent service. Simply put- faster speeds doesn‘t matter if half the ridership population can‘t take advance of it.
@@anthonysnyder1152 Riders adapt to the schedules. There's already guaranteed to be at least two trains per hour at every station. If the bullet only stops at like five stops, a ride from SJ to SF has a good chance of taking only 50 minutes.
Celebrate dr Martin Luther king day for his love of the country rest in peace dr never forget to support him ❤😢
I hope Caltrain implements more express service like this. Idk why the current express trains make so many stops.

can you post your perspective? Looks like the train was going pretty quick
Nice, I recorded in the front
wait from the cab?
I was there with him
they should've used a diesel set for this train. Doesn't have to be galleries and EMD F40s
why? I don’t see what’s wrong with the EMU
This was a nice experience being able to take a ride on it have
a great week and thanks.☕🚂🚃🚃🇺🇲
