Daimler actually put out a TSB to remove the weatherproof seal on the sending unit and just let it leak oil out. The leaking sending unit was sealed by the electrical connector seal, resulting in the pressure differential between the oil passage and atmosphere, so it would read less pressure than actual. It's a shame what Daimler did to Chrysler corp. It was actually a pretty good engine in my opinion, but they cheaped out on parts quality, and they had too much oil upstairs, leaving not enough in the pan. Keep up with oil changes and keep oil in it, and they would provide quite reliable service.
Hi fellow 2002 Sterling Blue Satin Glow Chrysler Sebring convertible Limited owner! Great video for an underappreciated car which has a smooth and quiet engine that lasts if you take good care of it! How many miles does your car have? Mine has over 135,000 miles on the clock.

How did you remove the cv axle?
Hi. I can't bring myself to sell it. Mine has almost 140000. It does run smooth. Thanks
