I am happy this platform is working so well for you. They really are the best platform available in the USA for an on road title to be able to go where ever you want...
13:24 There's a guy that made a flat mount with a 3d printer for his Starlink. That's mounted on his expedition truck. He has the plans. Does a ton od diy electrical and solar for overlanders. Currently in Columbia I think 🤔. Going blank on his channel name. Has a beard and uses a robot hand.😊 " Everlanders "😊 Great updates 👍 Thanks for sharing your truck again. Hopefully we will be seeing more of your travels again.
I saw that video several months ago on their channel. I ordered a star mount which took about two months to get which is pretty much what he did with a 3-D printer. When I had that cord failure out at Salton Sea , I knew I had to do a permanent fixed mount. I had very little feedback from tech-support from Starlink so I pulled the trigger on the $2500 business mount. I think if I had to do that again, I wouldn’t do that, and just go with the Rome feature in the star mount. I will use that on my Humvee. The Everlanders is way over my head for how he does his electrical and computer controlled stuff. Everyone has their own build style and needs! Thank you for taking the time to comment I appreciate you! Have a wonderful rest of your week! Cheers!
I really can’t say I understand your comment. But I’m retired Air Force and I also have recently sold off my fabrication business to do this lifestyle 1/2 to full-time. You definitely won’t ever hear me bragging about money as I use money to trade for time and cool things to do with it. Maybe you can help me understand what you’re trying to say?
Thank you so much! Plan is to keep living, healthy, happy, kind, and adventurous lifestyle! Cheers, thank you for inspiring words and taking the time to comment!
