- Today Kyle will be chopping the top on the donor car for the custom Chicken Truck project. This car is a 1953 Chevy Pontiac and turns out to be rather difficult to chop thanks to its extra doors and curved back glass.

Mr Cater sir, you have finally pissed me off! Yes, it's your car butthink in the future and what do you have? A POS! I won't watch you fu-k up a beautiful work of Art!
Finally, the voice of reason.
?
Great job in a short time well done, great project car .😊😊😊😊😊
due to human caused global warming, this modification is being hailed by throngs of idiot scientists as improving fuel burning emissions through weight reduction, while, keeping a stylish swooped over bubble look
Better to be pissed off than, you know, the other thing
Great job trolling the armchair pros Kyle. Love it.
Haha thank you!
Kyle, your half-ass effort is 300 times better than many folks’ best effort.
The flow of the roof to rear window to trunk is ten times better than the original.
Thanks!
@@CarterAutoRestyling Can you tell me about that bondpro filler you used? Where would I get some of that? I tried looking it up but found nothing on it..
Can it be reheated and set again?
Or was that something else you were using on the car? 40/70 lead solder?
I've never done this, but I want to now.
For someone working alone on this car i think you are doing a fine job
Kyle, this is the video that is going to make you world famous, even more world famous than you are now so be prepared.
My thoughts also.
💯 percent
Bravo Vile Kyle! And magnificent camera work by Trixy Tripod. That was the best cutting up, then welding it back together before cutting it all apart again that I have ever seen. Of course, you probably know that you have ruined your life... people are going to be begging you to save it now. Geez... you just don't know when to leave the bear alone do ya... I can respect that. Cheers from a shed, by the tracks, two doors down, on the left, in a secret location.
The backlash is going to be worse than the time you and Flivver got raided by the youtube copyright police!
@@CarterAutoRestyling That will be tied up in court for years.
May I propose Mr. Carter that when you have had your fill of this project that you donate it to a certain subscriber in Iowa... It would look great next to a certain Shack By The Tracks!😎
@@glennnickerson8438 😁
I never thought I would say this about a 4 door but, that looks AWESOME! ❤
Even through my 75 yr old eyes in Perth, Western Australia, it looks the goods.. I only wish that I could have the talent, knowledge and skills that Kyle brings to us via his videos. As we say in Oz: you've done a bonza job on this, Cobber!
Thank you!
@@CarterAutoRestyling Same from me in Pickering Brook Western Australia. I have learned so much from watching you Kyle, I'm very grateful you post these videos, keep em coming cobber.🤗
Thank you Mr. Carter. Way better than TV.
Haha the intro was brilliant
Vile Kyle it's pronounced kur not car. Ask Tripod Trixie, Hairy Larry, Fat Matt or Silly Millie...they'll set ya straight. Yes sir, yes they will.
Wow as I keep watching your like Mozart. I have been doing bodywork for 35 years and never done a chop.
That looked pretty darn good in the end.
You are a master craftsman! Very clean and looks amazing.
Boy Kyle ... if thats you just messin around I'd love to see you get serious ... guess you will show us on the ole "chickin truck" ... that hour went by in a hurry ... now that's entertainment ...
Lol Bad Chad impression is spot on
What a fun project. Very inspiring!
Best Episode Award! Congrats
Thanks!
Absolutely brilliant chop Kyle one of the best I’ve seen on TH-cam, really convincing, you must finish it now👍
Looks finished to me!
First thing, hilarious!!! I'd also like to add that this is one of the best demonstrations that I've ever seen on hammer welding. You made me understand exactly when you put that dolly under the roof and I saw it come up and then you hammered the weld. Thanks for the lesson. Great video. It's a shame you're not actually building that but I can't wait to see it chopped up and used to build the chicken truck. Thanks for being you!!!
I'm glad to hear the hammer welding part was helpful. Thanks for watching!
This is Kyle we're talkin' about. At some point after he gets the fenders off the Pontiac, he's going to decide that he needs to find some rusty Pontiac fenders, repair them, and put them on the Pontiac. Have you ever seen him throw anything away?
You were born too late , my friend . The old guys didn't have anything to go by , like you didn't . Great video Kyle brought back a lot of memories , thank you ....
Thanks! Glad it could bring back some memories for you!
Kyle, this is a super Duper job. The haters are jealous.
Senor Carter. You are a master metalsmith without a doubt.
I know you joke around, but that is a sign of a true genius, being able to disguise talent with humour.
I like how your "this is not the right way" always gives a great result. The chop turned out nice and took out the mordor look. The rear glass angle greatly improves the lines so this fordor as good as a coupe. Even though it is not going to be a finished car it was a good exercise and a nice one to share.
Thank you!
I don't know crap about body working, but my uneducated eye will give you an A+.
The Bad Chad spoof was great!! This project looks so cool! The old school methods were neat, they just made do with what they had.
As long as you know what you’re doing, (or are creating the illusion that you know, Lol), to that fine example of rolling rust….I’ll keep watching.
Back years ago we used to cut cars up with a torch but we never thought about putting them back together, we were only take apart mechanics.
You’re a put together mechanic too, I salute you.
You have got to put it on the road, it's so wicked!!!
I love 4 doors personally, & this one is so gangster now 🤩!!!
How unique is this, I would be so proud to own her 😊.
Like the spin on so mad sad chad an pristine trailer queen!!!
I would like to thank tripod Trixie for doing such a wonderful job. Filming and editing. Yours truly. SIMPY the virgin❤
🤣🤣🤣
Bad ass customs oh yeah look out Chad here comes real talent
"Vile Kyle".
I visualize a T-shirt...
A four door chop. Fabulous.
Nicely done Kyle.
Great job Kyle you made it look so easy.
Dude, You are Talented!
Excellent Kyle! I really enjoyed this video!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Kyle, My God you turned a bomber destined to be crushed and made into soup cans, into something that has the potential to make a new owner proud as can be, turning heads as they cruise the streets. Your forsight and hand skills make that chop look so easy. It would be exciting to see somebody in "Sus Cats uan" commission you to do an entire project.
Ha! Ha! When Kyle is having fun it makes for excellent content! 😆
Thanks Bob!
Thumbs up for the Rik Hoving reference, well done Vile Kyle!
Very Cool !!!!!!!!!
Nice looking treasure ..... visor would be epic !!!!
Thank you for the video ,
Both You and Scott put out some of the best content,
It is about having fun
Cheers !
Yes! A visor would be awesome!
@@christianheidt5733 I bet Lyle could whip up a visor out of old wrinkled fenders he has lying around
@@gymshoe8862 so true!
Unfortunately he's going to use the frame for chicken truck tho 😔.
I bet your phone will start ringing from California car dudes wanting to bring you home as a pet. Your car went from not-worth-much to being worth top dollar because you made it one-of-a-kind! You have the Midas touch, man!
Great example of chopping a top. You make it look easier than a person would think.
I'm so glad you decided on this project, my wishes do come true, I was a Pontiac tech at aa dealership for 15 years.
Hi Robert! I wouldn't reccomend getting too attached to this car
Kyle does an awesome Bad Chad but I don't think Chad has it in him to do a good Kyle! Your the best! Made my evening!
My favorite videos are watching someone with passion. Then add your talent for metal shaping and I'm hooked!
You talk like you moved to Nova Scotia...😂
Love the attempt at working filler like it's lead.
Oh man. I dig this car now. I hated it before.... now ya gotta do it justice and finish it up!
Amazing work Kyle. the nicest 53 model 4 door I have seen, amazing to see you master it !!
You've won this huge award for best chop of the year and you mercifully allowed the 4 door die with dignity!
Thanks very much, I appreciate that!
Brother you had me rolling on the floor!! Had to rewind several times..totally hilarious 😂 😃
I'm glad it made you laugh!
I appreciate you explaining as you go it's much easier for me to understand
I'm glad to hear the explanations are helpful!
Who would have thought, now that’s a cool 4 door . Man I like to see you built it out
Building it out not the Chad way,
A different world of skill to The queens other half , Keep up the good work Kyle .
Great chop enjoy watching Thank you for sharing.
Kyle, it looks great, and your videos keep getting better and better!
Thank you!
What a transformation. From a sit-up-straight, four door saloon to a sleek shape that flows and conveys motion. Looks really good.
Kyle you do good work.
Love the Bad Chad bit.
At least you finished what you started. Always enjoy your work...
🤙🤠👍
Look out bad Chad! There is competition in Saskatchewan. Well done Kyle, a great chop and a fantastic Bad Chad impression. 👍👍🇨🇦
Well, I was glad to see that Allen, and Poe have reached a peaceful settlement with the chair. I've always liked that body style of Chevrolet/Pontiac. Ian Roussel from Full Custom Garage did a chop on a 1955 Olds, and turned the 4 door into a 2 door. Your chop turned out as good as his did.
You made what is a pretty complex project look easy. Nice job!
Fantastic outcome. You are quite the metal mover in addition to being a fashion trend setter..
I enjoyed watching you chop this top. You make it look easy. Great job, looks great.
Yeah man you're 100% correct about these guys The originals they didn't have anything to refer to they had to just figure it out
Kyle I loved this video so much that I watched it twice and will watch again it was like seeing a magic show and wanting to see how it was done because it seemed unreal on how great the old Pontiac looks . Please do not destroy this car for the chicken truck get different donor.
Thanks, but the car was already destroyed long before I owned it.
This really turned out well, it looks great. Thank you.
21:30 is all I needed to see to know I would never be able to get this job done. Thanks Vile Kyle.
Very nice surprise today, loved it. Looks awesome
What a great job. Simply amazing how it turned out.
Thank you!
A true master at work.
While not a fan of the 4 door, I think it looks pretty good. Makes me think. of Gene Winfield. Amazing guy at 96 still chopping cars.
Gene Winfield is a champion!
Well Kyle, I really enjoyed how easy you made this look to do....... I am impressed! You should finish it fore sure..... NOT bad for a no tape job!!!!! As you know, chopping 4 Door is REALLY much more difficult versus a 2 door. GOOD JOB!
Glad you had fun on this project!!
It turned out pretty dang good for simply 'going for it' and using your brain and talent.
Thanks for sharing Kyle!
Thanks Russ!
I like this Vile Kyle guy.
Great line.
The original roofline and overall shape is better than anything being built today.
And you made it better, in short work, better than multi month projects I have seen quite a few do. They tend to chop too much.
That's twice now I've seen you chopped just the right amount. Not too much, nor too little.
Baby bear porridge/bed category.
Just one word: fabulous!!!
I like it with the tires that are on it. Gives it an early autocross kind of vibe
To each their own!
Just like magic bro - - - looks sooooo cool!
Shades of Bill Hines, the Wizard of Lead!!!!
You are the best!
You may joke, but you have some seriously amazing skills!
Thanks!
Awesome job as always Kyle 👍 best to you and your cats!!
Thanks!
Bad Chad parody. That’s hilarious
And nailed it boot! LOL
Trixie tripod... woke up a two. 😅😅😅
It's Friday. Friday is fun day.
and the quality of Kyles work just put it to total shame. I do like Bad Chad but I think if he watches this he will have total respect for Kyle.
As someone in Nova Scotia who knows Bad Chad , this made me laugh ! Trust me the YT stuff is all a gimmick , he’s a thug with a criminal history going back over 30 years. A real POS if you have the misfortune of getting knowing him .
Looking forward to seeing more. ❤️👍✌️😎
It would be a shame not to build that car . It looks awesome. Lowered and paint.😎✌️👍👍
Nice it looks great, more cats please.
I like that you make it look so easy, and I know that it is not! Thank you for showing us, Kyle!
Kyle job well done it's really looking cool. Lots of patience. 🇿🇦
I had one of those back in the 1970's. And I can imagine the effort required to do all those doors etc. One thing I did have for many years until it was stolen, was a Fisher body manual for all the 1949-54 GM bodies. A very useful book full of pics for those who can't read.
Superior work sir! Way better than that you know.....other guy that rhymes his name.
i love it!! it looks great
Kyle dude… I am amazed, completely amazed!
I got zero problems chopping this car. This ain't no period movie rental car, its yours so do your thing my man! As far as I'm concerned, they all should've looked like this from the factory. Bello in Chula Vista CA would be proud.
My God, from the dig at Brutal Chad, to the craftsmanship that can't be matched... what a video! Thank you fantastic work
Great job well done in a short time-frame well done.😊😊😊😊
I really like the back windows away. It's pitch. It's a lot better than what it looked like in the beginning. Good job!
Great job mate looks great and don't put yourself down your as good as a lot the greats out there.
Cheers from Australia
Thanks!
Really like your free-hand technique.
Dude, you were in the zone!!! Nice work.
Great video! The hammer welding segment was particularly inspiring and so well shot. We can see the metal moving on the dolly, thanks for that.
This is fun to watch you go guy.
Amazing talent
