@@CarterAutoRestyling Can you tell me about that bondpro filler you used? Where would I get some of that? I tried looking it up but found nothing on it.. Can it be reheated and set again? Or was that something else you were using on the car? 40/70 lead solder? I've never done this, but I want to now.
You were born too late , my friend . The old guys didn't have anything to go by , like you didn't . Great video Kyle brought back a lot of memories , thank you ....
First thing, hilarious!!! I'd also like to add that this is one of the best demonstrations that I've ever seen on hammer welding. You made me understand exactly when you put that dolly under the roof and I saw it come up and then you hammered the weld. Thanks for the lesson. Great video. It's a shame you're not actually building that but I can't wait to see it chopped up and used to build the chicken truck. Thanks for being you!!!
This is Kyle we're talkin' about. At some point after he gets the fenders off the Pontiac, he's going to decide that he needs to find some rusty Pontiac fenders, repair them, and put them on the Pontiac. Have you ever seen him throw anything away?
Even through my 75 yr old eyes in Perth, Western Australia, it looks the goods.. I only wish that I could have the talent, knowledge and skills that Kyle brings to us via his videos. As we say in Oz: you've done a bonza job on this, Cobber!
@@CarterAutoRestyling Same from me in Pickering Brook Western Australia. I have learned so much from watching you Kyle, I'm very grateful you post these videos, keep em coming cobber.🤗
Well, I was glad to see that Allen, and Poe have reached a peaceful settlement with the chair. I've always liked that body style of Chevrolet/Pontiac. Ian Roussel from Full Custom Garage did a chop on a 1955 Olds, and turned the 4 door into a 2 door. Your chop turned out as good as his did.
Senor Carter. You are a master metalsmith without a doubt. I know you joke around, but that is a sign of a true genius, being able to disguise talent with humour.
Well Kyle, regardless of how hard you tried not to, I learned quite a bit!😊 The before and after look of the roofline are striking. I would definitely put a small block in that thing and cruise the local car shows. I'm currently replacing the rusted door bottoms on my 65 F350 but I can't say it's been fun😢. At some point I'll have to admit defeat and break out the filler! But then I have no pride. At least not since I've been attempting body work. Thanks for the videos 😊
You have got to put it on the road, it's so wicked!!! I love 4 doors personally, & this one is so gangster now 🤩!!! How unique is this, I would be so proud to own her 😊.
I am amazed with your abilities, I'm waiting for the one where you chop a car blind-folded and it still looks better than anything I can do! Great job Kyle. The car does look better now than before you started, it needed to be chopped.
I really enjoy watching your videos! You’re a perfectionist, and it shows in every video you do and it doesn’t matter what your working on. Thank you for sharing your different methods you use in body work and your added humor, it makes for enjoyable watching!
Very Cool !!!!!!!!! Nice looking treasure ..... visor would be epic !!!! Thank you for the video , Both You and Scott put out some of the best content, It is about having fun Cheers !
Again wonderful display of talent and skill . And yes you did educate me a lot along the way . I was entertained and enjoyed your video once again . Thank you very much my friend in Canada. 😊
You took the old mundane body and transformed it into a sleek futuristic chop. For just goofing around you did a fantastic job. That takes real skill. Thanks for the video.
As long as the finish work looks good after it's covered with bondo and paint no one will know. I'm digging the 4 door chop better than the 2 door chop looks different from having seen many 2 door chop customs
As long as you know what you’re doing, (or are creating the illusion that you know, Lol), to that fine example of rolling rust….I’ll keep watching. Back years ago we used to cut cars up with a torch but we never thought about putting them back together, we were only take apart mechanics. You’re a put together mechanic too, I salute you.

Kyle, My God you turned a bomber destined to be crushed and made into soup cans, into something that has the potential to make a new owner proud as can be, turning heads as they cruise the streets. Your forsight and hand skills make that chop look so easy. It would be exciting to see somebody in "Sus Cats uan" commission you to do an entire project.
Those lines are beautiful. You simply must continue with this build. The simple fact that all four doors open and close effortlessly after that chop is really amazing. This work of art deserves a future.
I like how your "this is not the right way" always gives a great result. The chop turned out nice and took out the mordor look. The rear glass angle greatly improves the lines so this fordor as good as a coupe. Even though it is not going to be a finished car it was a good exercise and a nice one to share.
Bravo Vile Kyle! And magnificent camera work by Trixy Tripod. That was the best cutting up, then welding it back together before cutting it all apart again that I have ever seen. Of course, you probably know that you have ruined your life... people are going to be begging you to save it now. Geez... you just don't know when to leave the bear alone do ya... I can respect that. Cheers from a shed, by the tracks, two doors down, on the left, in a secret location.
May I propose Mr. Carter that when you have had your fill of this project that you donate it to a certain subscriber in Iowa... It would look great next to a certain Shack By The Tracks!😎
Kyle, your half-ass effort is 300 times better than many folks’ best effort.
Mediocre? Hace lo que le gusta eso no es mediocridad.
The flow of the roof to rear window to trunk is ten times better than the original.
Thanks!
