Adrenalize was probably not their best album, but still contained the classic Def Leppard sound and some great songs. This was one of them, always liked it a lot. Gotta say I love the "fade out" at the end, music artists don't do that so much anymore. Definitely an 80s/90s touch! Glad to see you listening to songs from their entire catalog - you still have a long way to go, ha.
I lost my mom in 2017 and as soon as I listen to this song I get a memory from her. Sometimes she used to call me to help her driving her to any place she felt it was complicated for her to drive or park. I went out to my car and I was waiting for her to join and this song was blasting from the speakers. When she entered the car I lowered the volume and she said that she could hear the music all the way to her bedroom. She liked the song. Miss you mom.
What a great story this band has! They didn’t give up after their drummer lost his arm. He overcame probably the worst thing that could happen to a drummer to maintain his status as one of the best drummers of all time!
I saw them on this tour! The stage was in the center of the arena, so every seat was like front row. There was no opening band…just 2 and a half hours of pure Def Leppard. It was insane, they played a lot of songs.
Jay, been watching you from the beginning... when you were in the corner with the colored background... saw you fall in love with SRV. Started watching you bc loved your spirit. Don't lose yourself in whatever is happening in your personal life. That's not what defines you. You have thousands of ppl who love and support you. Keep doing you. We like you . God bless. Keep giving the ppl what they want! That's you bringing us great music. Thank you
I had a fifth row seat to see Def Leppard. I was pretty obsessed with them at the time because they were such a great close knit band and it showed in their music. The coolest thing was they did and acoustic set in the middle of their concert that was all Led Zeppelin!! It was awesome
People are rude sometimes, but when you put yourself out there for the world to see, you have to take the bad replies along with the good. I have been subscribed to Jay clear back when he was by himself.. and ill continue to watch his reactions. Jay's personal life is his own. But, alot of people comment because they feel a part of the family (As Jay always says) and just want some clarity because they liked the channel. I dont think most of "those" comments are made to disrespect or be mean. Good luck Jay. Wish you the best.
I also feel similar to yourself I think that, as much as we may feel like we know these folks personally because of watching them react for years, their private life is THEIR own business!! I feel like they are two intelligent human beings, and Amber put a video up of her feelings of what's taking place and her absence, so they will tell us what THEY feel comfortable telling us! And beyond THAT the rude and, in my opinion, UGLY speculations about cheating or divorce or whatever are just uncalled for!!! BECAUSE they didn't mention it so why should anyone else mention THAT? LET'S just let these folks live THEIR lives!! They don't owe any more of an explanation than any other person in private life or anybody else in your own personal life that is going through a personal issue!!! I am as disappointed as anyone else as a follower of this couple since the very beginning that things have not worked out and it seems like they're going through personal issues!! But that's life and unfortunately because of the internet and stuff like TH-cam reaction videos people feel like they need to be in on every detail of someone's life that they don't know except from seeing them on TH-cam!! That's not the case people!! So let's just step back and let these kids live their lives!!

J check out their power ballad “When Love & Hate Collide”. Very powerful song. I’m glad you are keeping the channel up brother and I wish you the best.
Def Leppard recorded this album after Steve Clark died. Phil played all of the guitar parts on it. Vivian Campbell was brought on for the tour and is still with them to this day. And it's interesting that everything about the sound and production of this album is IDENTICAL to Bryan Adams' 'Waking Up The Neighbours' which came out around the same time. Mutt Lange seemed to just do a cut-and-paste job and made two massive records that sounded exactly the same.
I was wondering if Vivian played on the album at all. Thank you for the clarity. Losing Steve was heartbreaking, but Vivian and Phil continue to do just to his legacy.
@Shellgrit Jordan said in a video, maybe two years ago, that a reaction video to one of his songs was blocked. And I haven't seen many reactions on BA since then. The same goes for Bruce Springsteen. I guess some singers just don't like reaction channels.
You did pick up right away on the best lyric from this song. By the way for some newer ballads, I think “Unbelievable” and “Long, long way to go” are two underrated catchy and beautiful ballad. Although they’re the only songs ever put out that wasn’t written by the band. But anything they def leppardize is great. But since Rob likes upbeat songs he needs to try things like: promises, don’t shoot shotgun, and even Slang.
I believe their producer was Jeff "Mutt" Lange. Great power pop. He WAS married to Shania Twain and helped craft her sound during her peak years. You can hear the influence.
Def Leppard was my first concert in 1983 and it's funny because as a young teenager you see these guys in their twenties and think they've been around forever. 😂
Jay, When it comes to ballads by Def Leppard, you gotta check out "Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad". The song contains haunting guitars by Steve Clark. You won't be disappointed.
Was watching PBS channel about the singer Brenda Lee and they saw you two commenting on her. I was like whoaaaaa . Told my eife i follow there reaction videos. N what happened to you two. Good look. Also my favorite band.
@Johndoe-n3x9o Just reading between the lines of Amber's comments. You dont post these kinds of songs as your most memorable when you hardly liked them when you posted them earlier unless there's a strong connection. Seeing as you are reading so many comments you will have read all about Reddit and Jay's new alleged relationship. It's not rocket science. As for me requesting songs that's two separate things and as I said my choice
I think I was 20 or 21 when this came out. I just remember waiting for this album for so long. Steve Clark had passed and I wondered what the album would be like. He was the heart and Rythm at that time. To me, this was their last GREAT album. Vivian Campbell is an excellent addition. But Steve "Steaming" Clark left a lot of soul that will never be filled! CHEERS to all!
Check out "We're Stars" by Hear n' Aid. The hard rock and metal bands weren't included in USA for Africa. So Ronnie James Rio and Vivian Campbell (later of Def Leppard) put it together.
This song from album of 1992, it s been 5 years pause since they made Hysteria album of 1987, which was their best album and considered as one of the top hard and heavy style of rock albums of all times, in the same league with AC/DC s Back in Black , Deep Purple s Macbine Head and some others. Def Leppard is so called 2nd generation of hard and heavy rock, along with Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, WASP and many more. Later they were joined by Vivian Campbell lead guitarist, who previously worked with Ronnie James Dio, Whitesnake. Def Leppard cemented their name in the highest top of their generation of rockers. For sure.
This is off of their phenomenal "Adrenalize" album, if you haven't yet check out the track "White Lightning" which is also off of this album, IMO it is one of their best overall songs..
Donna here, I come in every now and then to see what you are playing so I don't know all the ones you have already done by them. I tried to see on the playlists, but not everyone is listed. Def Leppard is a great band! Have you tried ZZ top, Sharp Dressed Man?
Life goes on, man, I understand that. But y'all gotta be humble and realize Amber brought a lot of the energy to the table. You gotta make this your own now.
Lyrical geniuses! Even though this was not released until after Clark’s death he is listed as a co-writer, which makes so much sense. Every thing that man wrote was genius. Shame he did not know it.
J, first let me say, sorry about Amber. Second, I know you love Def Leppard as much as I do, and I know you prefer bangers, so please check “Gods of War”, “Demolition Man”, “Dangerous”, and “U Rok Mi”. Not all have official videos. The last one I mentioned was from their last LP, and while it is not one of their released hits, it is a song I love, and I think you will love the bass in the song. All 4 of these, are gym playlist worthy in my opinion. Most comments will suggest the low hanging fruit of the Def Leppard catalog, meaning the radio hits only, but Def Leppard’s catalog runs so deep with good music.

"Gods of War" next time from them J! It's an underrated classic IMO
I second that!
Let’s go Jay!

Hysteria (the song) is probably one of my faves by them - and When Love and Hate Collide, of course - but this is a great one too 🙌🏻
