Lego Batman: The Killing Joke

- After a year of writing the script and getting voices, and a year of animating almost 5,000 frames in 2 years total, it's finally here!!!
After escaping Arkham, Joker is crazier than ever and shoots and paralyzes Barbara Gordon, and kidnaps Commissioner James Gordon just to prove it only takes on bad day to drive the sanest man to lunacy. Batman must take down this crazed, homicidal, maniac before he goes to far, but to do this he would have to end his life. Batman must decide to either let the Joker live and let him keep killing or end him now and never have to worry about him again. What will he chose?

Great recreation man! I can really tell the time and effort that was put into this. The voice acting was also really great! I love the use of a lot of the practical effects like Jokers camera strap and what not. I read the comic and the similarities are there! I love the Killing Joke, its one of my favorite storylines ever. Might do a spin on my own in the future. Till then I have this. Great job!

I did not expect to watch this whole thing. low budget "hobby films" don't always interest me. but this was way more than that. this was the blue print for the actual movie. "The rough draft" and it was absolutely amazing. since it's low budget I expected flaws so I won't fault you for any of them. this was excellent. I wasn't to much of a fan for the voice actor of Jim Gordan. he didn't have any emotion in his voice no happy sad afraid shocked surprise nothing. I liked how you used the Simpson Lego's lol i thought that was awesome. keep up the great work guys. I'd to see you guys do death in the family batman. . . if your taking request lol

An unnamed engineer quits his job at a chemical company to become a stand-up comedian, only to fail miserably. Desperate to support his pregnant wife, he agrees to guide two criminals through the chemical plant where he previously worked so that they can rob the playing card company next to it. The police inform him that his wife and unborn child have died in a household accident. Grief-stricken, the engineer tries to withdraw from the plan, but the criminals strong-arm him into keeping his commitment.
At the plant, the criminals encounter security personnel, a shootout ensues, and the two criminals are killed. The engineer is confronted by Batman. Terrified, he jumps into the chemical plant's waste pound lock to escape and is swept through a pipe leading outside. He discovers to his horror that the chemicals have permanently bleached his skin chalk-white, stained his lips red and dyed his hair green. His disfigurement, compounded with the loss of his family, drives him completely insane and marks the birth of the Joker
Better than the official movie adaptation! The panel to scene recreation the voice acting for the characters and especially that Mark Hamill Joker voice impersonation. DAAAAAANG. It's worth the watch. Kudos man!

A 44 minute batman animation this is rare it's very impressive. The voice good although joker voice is extremely hard to master overall the animation is very good.

Kyp Goldenflier Productions I made the mouth animation in a program called "Anime Studio" and then put them on the characters in "Adobe Premiere." I made a tutorial on it awhile back but it wasn't that good and I'm probably going to redo it soon but here's the link to it anyway:

Triston Williams Thanks! Im not sure how many hours it took but it took about 6-8 months to animate. If you count from when I started writing the script to when I finished then it would be a total of about 2 years.

A masterful job, and very faithful to the source material. I also laughed my ass off at the various Simpsons figures. Excellent work, I'd be very proud.
Well, that was a lot of fun to watch! There were some flaws here and there, but I can't wait to see how you improve on not only the animation itself, but also in production value. I don't want to give a criticism on every voice actor's performance, but I will say that Mike Wilson sounded more like a teenager than a grown rugged man. However, I still think that he acted very well. Nick Call was a very impressive Joker. The only problems that I had with his delivery were the parts where he exclaimed or raised his voice, because he either sounded sick or like he really needed to clear his throat. The laugh was fantastic and chilling though. I know that Cliff Thompson had very few lines as Detective Bullock, but I must say that he sounded the most believable! You've earned yourself a subscriber, good sir. Keep improving :D

+BetitoBass I did the recordings for this back before I had a properly dampened audio space, so it was all done with about 3 towels over my head to stop sound reflections. Made for a really rough time recording, and it also meant that I would peak frequently, hence the more "suppressed" exclamations. Thanks for the kind words though! Glad you enjoyed, it was fun to be a part of this!

This is... GREAT!!!!! But I think you should do a remake of this using newer pieces. They released a version of joker in the LEGO. The hair looks exactly the one from the and the beach version from this comic too, nice work though!!!!

+LegoDude2011 If you're speaking about mine specifically, that's fair; it's a voice I do for fun, and I don't put nearly as much time into refining it as I do my own voices. Combined with a poor recording space at the time and you're left with something a bit more rasp and growl than bouncy and psychotic, which annoys me, too. I dunno about "ungodly" annoying, though, that's just hurtful ;o;
If you're talking about The Joker in general, well I dunno I can't help ya there.

When I'm finished with my stop motion I don't think I'm gonna do animation for the mouth I can't afford dragon frame. Your lucky you were able to use it.
+BatBrickFlicks I actually didn't have dragonframe when I created TKJ and I had to do the mouths separate and then put them on the character for every frame. It took forever lol
