Thank you so much for includng Ova Magica! I know it's based on wishlists - but still! I'm always super happy and honored to be featured on your channel with my game Ova Magica♥
Hey, don't thank me! Thank yourself, for doing such an amazing job getting all of those wishlists in the first place! Looking forward to playing Ova Magica good luck with the release! Not that you'll need it
I have Magical Delicacy (maybe not so much farming, but for me similar), Fields of Mistria and OF COURSE, Chef RPG on my wishlist for July, August, September. Zoo Story and Pixelshire are also looking awesome, but I don't think they have a date.
@@Vinkenshi It's really cool in that you have to homestead to keep yourself alive and fed, but there is actual, fleshed out story! And thedialogues are really nice.
Luma Island I haven't seen and it looks a little original. Honestly, there are so many, but they all look to have similar gameplay. Looking for something different.
I'm confused on why it says July 24th 2024 for super zoo story? did I missed something or something? I haven't seen anything about a release date? and tbh? I don't see that game coming out anytime soon. probably 2025.
I really like chef rpg even tho I havent played it on my own and only looking at Sharky playing it. I dont know if the dev is looking at this comment section, but i hope the interaction between player and characters/character development wont be bland like just any other games. I hope theyre not just for us to talk to but also have a certain role (not just as shopkeeper/romantic interest). Like, for example if we have good relationship with them we can ask them to come with us and hunt/protect us when we are gathering. The hunting in this game scares me a bit 😂. Also it doesnt have to be all characters, but like certain character can have certain advantage, like you can ask a fisherman npc/romantic interest to keep you company while fishing and at the end of the day/event he will give some of his harvest to you, or you can ask an android npc to fix/repair your tool or help u make a furniture once a month, another npc can help you in the restaurant as chef or waiter (but more skilled than regular npcs you hire, and you dont have to pay them), or water and harvest your crops, or gathering, or something else. And its not transaction but more like a favor as neighbour/friend/lover. Since they all have different specialty/skills, so theyre not just bland npcs who you can only talk to but also useful, and have actual interaction with you. It can also be an event where if you do it you get more exp of certain skill or relationship bonus afterward. If youre married then the spouse may help out on your tasks occasionally/regularly, or like give u a small allowance from their 'wage' or even some stuffs like forages/ingredients weekly which they got from their job (not enough to break the game but show their involvement in the relationship). It will make roleplaying so much more immersive. Even if not on the release, I hope it can be somewhat implemented in a dlc or update in the future. I might be getting ahead of myself but I can dream right 🥲.
😒 nothing of interest. All these feel like a rip off of Stardew valley in one way or another. They're great concepts, but personally would like to have a farming game that doesn't feel the same as the rest.
People like you think everything is stolen from Stardew Valley. FYI, this play style has existed since the '90s. You're just new to this type of game. I'm not saying Stardew Valley is a bad game-I have over 2k hours of playtime.
You do realize stardew valley is a "ripoff" of games that came before it. Do you really think he came up with the formula? What could be different anyway? They are farm sims.. they follow a certain formula, that's what makes them farming games.

Go back when there was no Stardew Valley
wen was concerned ape sopost to put 1.6 on consoles
Fields of Mistria with the hint of character models from Sailor moon + the music it just looks sooooooooo good.
I’m most excited for Super Zoo Story, Chef RPG and Fields of Mistria!!! ❤
Same❤ I cannot wait 🤗
Fields of Mustria is the one I am most excited for. I plan on getting it early access.
You may want to check out Yokai Inn. It's not a farming sim but I hear it's got Spirited Away vibes and it looks cozy.
Ova Magica is the one I am most excited for!! Can't believe it's just 3 weeks away
Luma island looks like fun!! I like island settings.
Will you be doing a series on sunny side?

Haha, the trailer for Farlands said "coming 2025"? That's not this year! :P
Hopefully a few of these will make their way over to the switch!! So excited for chef RPG
thanks for these list's sharky! luma island looks really cool, added to my wishlist :)
Really surprised Mirthwood didn't make this list. I've been playing the demo and it looks so cute. :)
You should check-out Veil of Dust: Homesteading game. It's a lovely framing game with some plot and romance.
Damn im so intrigued now alot of people praising the dialogue which is usually a miss in these type of games

Looking Good Sharky
Thanks dude!

FoM is the one I have been most eagerly anticipating for many years. Great list, thanks, Sharky.
Most excited for Chef RPG and Super Zoo Story!
Sadly no Super Zoo Story this year. On one of their recent twitter posts someone asked if the release was still this year and got the answer of nope.
Surprised Farming Simulator 25 didn’t make the list
Oh you stopped talking & just played the trailers
i cant wait for chef rpg! so sad it wont be until september o3o

That confused me as well-I don’t want to get too excited. I am so looking forward to this game but other than 2024 haven’t seen a release date!
Yes it's a mistake in the editing that got missed! I apologise, it doesn't have a set release date but it does say 2024!

Super zoo Story à la stardew Valley 🥰
