Preordered the ANC one not because I care that much about it.. I just want the conversational awareness and automatic turn down volume when I talk to people.
Wow, I'm totally in your wife's camp on ANC. I love it on a plane when I'm travelling on a business trip w/o my kid or I'm on an excercise bike. I literally can't walk with it on. I get motion sick and it's just plain awful. I thought I was the only one so glad to hear there are other people out there that struggle with ANC.
As someone who uses these for work from home life and 3 - 4 hours of conference calls daily.. the Airpod Pros would always hurt my ears and anything in the ear canal is a no go for me. Been using the gen 3 for the last 2 years and they are a lot better feel for me personally. My only complaint is sometimes i have to reseat them in my ears after talking for extended period of time because they feel like they may fall out. I have the 4's on order and hopefully the fit will be a little more solid with their slight redesign. Also hopefully the ANC will help push out my kids yelling at me while on calls lol.
@@lucasnoline Following back up after a week of work maybe 20 hours or so of meetings. The fit is incredible. Its a slight change over the gen 3s but for some reason it works so much better and feels so much more comfortable over longer periods of time. I think it might sit just a little deeper in the ear. Talking for awhile still makes my left airpod come slightly loose but nowhere near as quickly as it did on the gen 3s. I would definitely recommend the 4s. The sounds is way better (the bass) and with the noise cancelation Im able to tune out the kids better on these calls. They feel just right for me at least.

That look on your face was priceless 😂. I also have a problem with the Pros not fitting correctly but now I can get great features without shoving them in my ears. It’s a win win but knowing sound quality will take an objective hit.
The one statement not many people made from this channel is the ear pressure. Im that person who is sensitive with that and that makes it a great determination on whether to get ANC or not. Im sticking with the wired usb C. Hopefully apple will make an internal software to include noise cancellation, options for ANC, and PNC open ended tip (can still do PNC by putting silicon lining around the earpiece :/)
Granted the ear pressure isn't huge you will just notice it when the music is not playing. I edited on them or 4 hours straight with ANC on and forgot they were on. I would try them first and then if its bad then return them. I am betting you keep them.
Since Apple cares a lot about the environment, they released two airpods that are exactly the same, but one has one less feature and the cable has been removed from the box. Apple magic! Who doesn't love Apple?
Selling my AP2s and getting the 4s with ANC I can get them to stay if I hold my head very still. other then that I pop em out to run to desks or anything else. I loved the 3s as they stayed, but I wanted the ANC. I feel like this release is for those of us who fall at the in-between and want the ANC but don't like earbuds falling out. Eagerly awaiting friday
I have the AirPods Pro 2, the AirPods 3rd gen and just bought the 4 gen. I love the 4 gen. They’re in between the 3rd and the pros. But I honestly love them because they feel comfortable on the ear. I already preffered the 3rd over my pros. Due to the tips hurting my ear after a while. But the 3rds are totally worth it😊

Everybody seems to be whining why there is 2 versions of the 4. Remember all the version 2 and 3 have 2 versions too. Cheaper version and another version with wireless charging case. This year the wireless charging version just got a whole bunch of extra features for differentiation from the cheap one. And everyone complains. Remember this Samsung sells a fold/flip, galaxy s and a and m series and fe series. Xiaomi is even better they have ultra then regular then t series then lite then youth then a whole bunch of redmi and then poco. Even oneplus is pure confusion, they have the regular then a dimensity version then a whole bunch of nord version fe se so many. Nothing has cmf too. And so many flavors of earbuds under each brands.
I don't know why companies make like Apple pro Samsung Galaxy plus and stuff like that when they could just go with one at a reasonable price instead of making different versions charging more just for a few different features
I almost thought the ear covers were missing ,but per google , they don’t come with them bc of the “classic design” .. they definitely feel nice & snugged in my ear! I like them!!
I'm anxious to try these because the AirPod Pro doesn't fit. I'm the same as the wife--they just pop out. I love how seamlessly Apple products work together so I'm anxious to get my hands on the 4 with ANC
The Pro Gen 1s hurt my ears after a few minutes. I had to return them, had been using the AirPods 3 ever since. I just switched to the AirPods 4 for the added features.
Mine doesn’t show battery percentage in the first attempt even after keeping the iPhone 13 and AirPods 4 anc close together it shows on 3rd attempts..do you think that’s okay or should I go and get it replaced ?

It’s not as good for sure but it’s impressive to have ANC on a design like this. I would go for the ANC versions if you have the budget since you also get so many other features with it.
So does the AirPod 4 without noise canceling have spacial awareness and conversation awareness still or do no Cause I don’t know if I have to get the other one to also get the sa and ca (spacial and conversation awareness)
The build quality of the 4 is awful. Dropped it once on the pavement and two obvious dents vs the 2 I had since 2020 dropped multiple times without a single visible dent.
They should have just released the non anc version only. If you want anc then get the pros because the price difference between anc pods 4 and pro 2 isn’t much

You can only get it engraved on the Apple website but not in cursive. It’s pretty user friendly on the site. I have mine engraved u can even choose emojis

I hate anc , i get headaches when i use anc headphones . I use just wired earpods just because of that , i also use oneplus buds 3 because i can completely turn off anc i was unable to do that with samsung and other brand earbuds . And yes those silicon earbuds pop out too and in hot climate it feels extremely uncomfortable

Upgraded to the 4s from the 2s and the sound is much better . They don’t fit me as good as the 2s but they still fit good .

ANC should be automatic and a choice even if you don’t use Siri you still pay for Siri
