      Hi Tom, many thanks for watching. These are the "Karawanken" in the very south of Austria. I just checked out your channel (and subscribed of course) and I guess you know them very well 😀

      All bars full - with line of sight and no obstructions that thing can go miles. Easily.

    Your video quality is very clean and clear 👌🏾 im debating getting this or the mini 3 pro. In your opinion is the avata video quality as good?

    • @its-my-life
      @its-my-life  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Rio! The video quality of the Avata is as good as the video quality of the Mini 3 Pro. The Mini 3 Pro has the advantage of the 3-axis gimbal, so if you want to keep the horizon steady in your shots (better for "slow", "panoramic" shots), it has an advantage there. If you like the "flow" of what FPV like shots give you (like seen in this video, with horizon tilting), then the Avata has the advantage specially as you can fly it much more precisely through the goggles.

    • @McQuade30FPS

      @@its-my-life this is really good information I appreciate you! Have you taken any still photos on the avata yet? If so how do the quality look compared to the mini 3?

    • @its-my-life
      @its-my-life  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@McQuade30FPS - if you like "special" still photos like panoramic shots, etc. - you will only get those on the Mini 3. For "normal" photos, the Avata can do them more or less as good as the Mini 3. One advantage of the Avata is that you can frame the photos very intuitively using the motion controller and the goggles, and potentially also the head tracking. That will make it easier to "quickly" and "precisely" frame a shot, much quicker than using the gimbal controls & sticks on a mini 3 pro.

      @@its-my-life thats pretty much what ai needed to know! Thanks a bunch! Im thinking I'll go with the avata for more versatility! I like the fpv view for cinematography and okay with standard photography as im more interesting in learning manual mode eventually and the avata simulation will help greatly with that

    • @its-my-life
      @its-my-life  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@McQuade30FPS - it's my pleasure, love trying to help. I think you are making the right choice. With FPV and the possibilities of manual mode, you have much more room to grow on the Avata than on a "traditional" DJI drone. Have fun - and once you got it, make sure to post some videos on your channel, I'd love to watch them 🙂

    with no maneuver and those speed while declining the mountain, I'm assuming you're using motion controller. actually its pretty good and i think motion controller would be a no-hassle and fun way to fly fpv drone

    • @its-my-life
      @its-my-life  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are right, all flown with the motion controller. It is a great way to fly this drone in a relaxed way and/or in areas one does not know well. I would not have expected to enjoy it that much. I own the regular controller as well. Many thanks for watching :-)

    there is no maximum height limit of 500m?

    • @its-my-life
      @its-my-life  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your comment and many thanks for watching! I'm hiking myself, I was up there with it. At times, the drone was even lower than my own altitude.

      @@its-my-life Oh ok and did you have any problems with the wind? how does the drone fly?

    • @its-my-life
      @its-my-life  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@cloudhunter88 It handles wind much better than the Mini 3 Pro which I had before. The flight characteristics are great. I used the motion controller for flying, which is very intuitive.
