I get that everyone talks about Balatro and therefore it will get more clicks than other video reviews but Monster Train is a hidden gem that should get more attention. It’s basically Slay the Spire mixed with a tower defense game.
What makes Balatro special to me is the logical rigour of it. If it has an effect with instructions, those instructions follow through logically-yes, even when they absolutely break the game. So many times it surprised me with ”wow, that actually worked”. It’s strange that this seems like a novel thing, but it really felt like it.

I feel like the game's skill ceiling is a bit too high tbh but I can see how some people appreciate the challenge aspect
