Scientific notation is unintuitive even for a mathematician like myself. Like, your intuition tells you that "hey we made it to ~e55 on the first hand, e58 isn't that far we can play more hands" and then you realize you'd have to play about a thousand of those hands to reach e58 😅
I find it easy to just remember the rule of 3. 6 = million, 9 b, 12 t, 15 quad, 18 quin. The painful is after decillion. Obviously if it's not a three so if it's 17 then it's 100 quadrillion. I'd probably be able to do it if I actually knew the numbers, I only remember up to duo decillion because it's like Spanish.
I mean, when you find a combination of jokers that increases score exponentially, the intuition that e58 is achievable after an e55 hand isn't necessarily incorrect
@@Thomps_Guy very few joker combinations can make it to e55 without already using every other slot you have, though. Sure, you can go from e5 to e8 just by finding a blueprint, but e55 already demands a hyper specific combination of deck manipulation, consumables, and like 10 jokers, so you don't really have room to just casually add another Xe4 unless you're running an infinite Perkeo build or something
@@Thomps_Guy Adding jokers would bump up the score but I'm talking about when we are facing a blind and fail to 1 shot, being "only" Xe3 away from the kill, we would need 1000 similar hands to kill.

1:11:53 I'm not 100% sure, but my guess as to why the game lags is because of the way it's storing data. Every item you own is (I suspect) fully indexed, each object is 100% unique and his all of its data values stored again separately, for example, if you have two 3 of clubs in your deck, and you draw both, the one that draws to the left will ALWAYS be exactly the same 3 of clubs, even though you cannot tell the difference, because the game stores objects in a way that has each one being 100% unique with its own entry. These entries would include stuff such as Bonus chips (for hiker), card enhancement, Holo/Poly/foil/Negative, the data on the joker that changes (popcorn for example), its exact location in the stack, what card back to use, sell value, etc. Storing stuff like this allows for unique interactions like Hiker storing precise data on the card, or vampires having unique mult values, etc. However, as the amount of objects gets larger, the index of objects gets larger, and the software, every time it has to access this index for any reason, takes more and more time due to the size, and time it takes to parse through it to find the data. PS, I know you don't actually care and said that sarcastically. But as a TH-cam commenter, I have a right to pretend I don't understand humor, sarcasm, or rhetoric, and use every opportunity to prove that I'm smarter than everyone else by making up some bullshit that sounds correct enough to be true. Because I’m playing on console without the recent patch, and I’ve tried doing EXACTLY what you do in the video, and I am not getting the first Perkeo (I’m getting Chicot in that same spot.) @36:43 Interestingly you wouldn't have even lost there. Playing four cards there wins by a significant margin... Even just a single 8 high card gets past 110k with 23 planet cards held...
Jfc this community is toxic. For reference I don't have that much playtime, 40 hours... and at least part of that likely accidentally leaving it open overnight, probs a coupke times. Certainly, it's not enough experience to have even ever played with both Telescope and Observatory, so I made a mistake. Regardless, my comment was supposed to be more congratulatory than anything else - i.e. reading as "well done, you're so far past target that even a massive misplay wins easily" @RoffleLite, your comment in this case was fine, honestly quite neutral. It names the mistake in my logic and nothing more. But then look at how your community respond... that right there is a toxic, parasocial relationship that you're breeding... and yes, it is you doing that. I watched perhaps 5 hours of content, slowly noticing it, before unsubscribing and asking YT to never suggest your videos again - not because of the game play, but because your attitude in your videos to people being wrong - which breeds comments like te above in your comment section. That comment comes almost definitely from someone in a parasocial relationship with you, vying for your attention by doing the things they think you want, which is being an asshole to people that are wrong, and getting their nose nice and brown. You obviously play the game a lot by virtue of being a streamer, and in doing so you quickly rocket up to the top n% of players (likely top 1% or better) ... but intrinsically, this means a vast majority of your potential audience are not in that same top 1% and are less experienced than you - though a portion at/approaching/exceeding your level, these people are the most likely to be problematic. Unless you want to exclusively appeal to that small subset of people I'd be inclined to suggest trying to change the culture of your audience. The video that lost me as a subscriber had you condescendingly talking about your twitch chat and not reading it anymore, before turning your attention to youtube comments.. The whole tirade reeked of elitism, which yeah, you can be if you want to be, but its my opinion that you will be less successful as a content creator than someone who is friendly - with less views and less engagement. After that bit of the video I scouted out the comments and realised it was just not a nice place to be. Many comments were just meta comments about comments being wrong, and it was a barren wasteland for any good vibes... each comment an island that sternly declared any outsiders were unwelcome near it (it was at that point that the penny dropped, and I realsied the content I'd just watched wasn't an isolated incident, and was directly leading to these comments.) Being wrong is okay, it's how people learn. The game is mathematical. Imagine a world where if someone wrong then the chat or comments can discuss it civilly, tell them why, everyone learns, everyone gets along, and it's a good time. This does happen btw, it's not some fantasy - To provide an example the community for Blood on the Clocktower, where someone is making (non-mathematical and far more subjective) decisions frequently, and which has the audience discussing the decisions and possibilities. .. but when comments or chat suggest a play that's bad people aren't leaping on then to tear them apart, they're uplifting them and teaching them. That's a community that's good to be part of, and it starts with the people on screen creating that culture in the audience. Tl;dr: the vibes in your comments are toxic, this starts with how you talk to, and about, your audience, plus how you lead by example, and/or explicitly encourage them/set expectations for how they interact with each other. It's proven to be possible to have a community with good vibes, and I am of the opinion content creators who engage that way are more successful. Overall, I'm just one guy on the Internet, and this is just one opinion. I'm sure some of your audience really love having a small group of very similar players (and will hate a dissenting opinion), but I am one guy who unsubscribed and is offering honest feedback about why, which is kinda rare. You're under no obligation to change, and I expect you and your audience will not respond positively to what's likely to be perceived as harsh critisicm. Regardless, if you find your new audience retention isn't hitting the targets you want then I'd really encourage you to give it some thought.
@@HowsItHangingSWE That's just helping out a newer player who doesn't know how the game works, so they don't make the mistake in _their_ runs. Like a genuine youtube video game creator person.

I'm here to be a youtube commenter. Am I doing it right?

Why does he always say "steeled"? It's "stolen", does he not speak English?
No steeled would be correct. There is steel and steal, he is using the first one
@@concon4114 nono, you mean "stale"
haha yes, i am normal
@36:43 Interestingly you wouldn't have even lost there. Playing four cards there wins by a significant margin... Even just a single 8 high card gets past 110k with 23 planet cards held...
High card would not benefit from the planets held... Only a Flush would proc the Jupiters with Observatory.
@@RoffleLite Shutting down backseaters on a 5 month old video. My streamer.
Jfc this community is toxic. For reference I don't have that much playtime, 40 hours... and at least part of that likely accidentally leaving it open overnight, probs a coupke times. Certainly, it's not enough experience to have even ever played with both Telescope and Observatory, so I made a mistake.
Regardless, my comment was supposed to be more congratulatory than anything else - i.e. reading as "well done, you're so far past target that even a massive misplay wins easily"
@RoffleLite, your comment in this case was fine, honestly quite neutral.
Many comments were just meta comments about comments being wrong, and it was a barren wasteland for any good vibes... each comment an island that sternly declared any outsiders were unwelcome near it (it was at that point that the penny dropped, and I realsied the content I'd just watched wasn't an isolated incident, and was directly leading to these comments.)
Being wrong is okay, it's how people learn.
