    This journalist is an APC apologist.
    Peter Obi said he would remove subsidy, but FIRST, he would probe what we are subsidizing , which is about 50% of what we actually subsidise .
    That means most of the subsidy goes into private pockets.
    Tinubu did not do that because most of the thieves in the Oil and gas industry supported his campaign.😂
    Oando is there.
    He has refused to AUDIT NNPC like CBN .
    Kyari and his colleagues ought to have been long sacked.
    Now we know from Dangote that they have a refinery in Malta.
    No wonder they are reluctant to end the importation of fuel.

    • @ToralizerEncLib
      @ToralizerEncLib หลายเดือนก่อน

      Peter Obi is the same thing as Tinubu. He would have removed fuel subsidy. And that would have plunged us into the problems we find ourselves now. What the country needs is a different vision.
      We have opened up the economy to the full effects of the dollar. When they sneeze in America, we will catch cold in Nigeria.We should shield ourselves from this foreign problem. We should have our own industries. The NNPC should step up. If they can't they shouldn not sabotage Dangote. What Dangote has done with his refinery should be encouraged in other sectors of the economy. This is the way forward. Anything else is just playing with the future of the country.

    Tinubu got the Handover Notes from Buhari and knew from therein that subsidy was not budgeted for, he was elected n May and had 3months to consult and prepare with Buhari. Was he not the "APC National Leader" for 8yrs under Buhari? Anyone making excuses for this govt is not being fair to truth. How about floating the naira, did he also inherit that from Buhari? Oga interviewer, the previous govt removed subsidy on paper and verbally. But this govt removed subsidy practically and effectively when the pump price changed. And that is when we started seeing the impact. But please answer me one question: where is the money that has been made from the subsidy reomval in the last 15-16 months?

    None sense. The host shouldn’t push the narrative that previous govt didn’t have subsidy for full year. Does this mean we are now creating half year budgets? How about the various supplementary budgets for more money? How about their concurrent execution of last year budget spend, where is that last year income coming from?
    Anyway, all this is academic as subsidy is still being paid. 🤣
