How can the economy be improved to prevent future protest. How will resources be used efficiently to develop the land and reduce poverty? That is more of what we want to hear.

These are different from what you want to hear and reality,
This has always been the problem, certain regions don't like truth but they always like to hear what pleases them,
You eat your cake and have it, the consequence is there,
We can see the example in SE Nigeria, their economy never grows, no work on Mondays, no tangible infrastructure, lack security which they all support and IPOB and esn,
There's no magic in the economy, you protest and you have to wait,
Endsars the best forensic laboratory was burnt till date we haven't have another,
Billions of brt busses were burnt still day there's no replacement, business that was lost during endsars has not regained,

      Say no to protest

Thanks so much guys. I am really happy about you guys professionalism (largely devoid of personal emotional drive). This is one of the few very complete analysis about the ongoing protest have seen so far. Very balance and professional analysis.
Analysed the problems, what the govt has done & doing, the gap of that to the reality of the daily living of ordinary civilian and what are the suggested solution in relation to similar nations who have found themselves in similar situation...
God bless you guys abundantly 👍

You are right, it is so disgusting that a man will get into power and remove subsidy without any thinking or planning, then float the naira against sound advice given to him, meanwhile he is increasing cost of governance by increasing the number of ministers by making his goons ministers, when the country is broke, the same man is spending over 20 billion naira in building the vice president’s quarters as if the vice president is homeless, should that kind of expenditure be priority now? He is giving 90 billion naira to few private individuals to go on their personal pilgrimage, when the country needs money? he did not put that into food production ooo. Is that not the most ridiculous and mindless thing to do? Beats my imagination how people saw 8 years of waste and disaster under Buhari and still voted for the same set of clueless people. This economist is giving free counsel on what to do, but the agbadorians in government will not listen. What a shame. Imagine asking segun odegbami to go and play for super eagles today simply because he was a star player 54 years ago , tinubu is obviously declining mentally, and intellectually, it is that same intellectual challenge that made Buhari fail woefully, and now tinubu is even worse with his balablu blublu Bulaba economic chaos.

The arrogance of those in power is the most obvious catalyst for the protest. Those people thump their noses at us all. Passing unpopular bills to make themselves feel happy. Providing leisure for themselves and asking the masses to endure. Renting the Renos and Bwalas, the Asari Dokubos, including Onanugas to harass fellow citizens calling them names and daring them to “do anyhow and see anyhow”. They never cared and that is the reason for the obvious frustration you see in the street.
We are not slaves, being elected or appointed doesn’t place you higher than everyone else. Hope they learn and adjust. The people have the power to chase them all out of office in one day.

If your business was destroyed in the protest, you can sue the organizers.
You do not have the right to destroy people's businesses.

This analysis is trash and total waste of time. Everyone losses during protest. But every hardworking Nigerian has been losing for the past 30yrs because of bad governance. Everyone protesting is has business and works they do. But they are all paying the sacrifice.
