@@lyna2559 yes? He composed and wrote lyrics of Lie. He did get input from others but they are also the ones who always have input with bts songs. Namjoon literally said Jimin wrote the lyrics, ofc while making the song there's some changes because a lot of things happen when finishing a song.

All the members have tons of people helping them write their song,but I don't see y'all jumping on people when one says jk produced it, he wrote it, tae wrote it. @@jjennie7203 yeah, tell me about it. jimin writes something, then suddenly he didn't write it fully. jimin dances beautifully, suddenly anyone can do it. jimin majored in art school in SK, suddenly it's not called major and it became a dance academy despite Jimin, his family, and BH saying otherwise. Arts High School in SK is hard to get into and most students spend trianing since childhood to be able to get into one because graduating from it is the sure way to enter prestigious universities. Jimin managed to top the entrance exams and majored in dancing but some "army" us discrediting him about that.

The change from Major to Minor in the Caught in a Lie part is an amazing piece of text painting in music. Also the fact that this song is in 3/4 instead of 4/4. A lot of BTS music uses production elements to emphasize/highlight the lyrics of the song.

also i saw this on twitter full credit to @vfxjimin, the entire chord progression of lie is in minor except for the chorus where jimin goes major (“caught in a lie“) conveying the song’s essence by hiding a major amidst minor chords, hence the ‘lie’ in the song itself

One of my favourite tracks on Wings, and that's a feat on such a solid album. Jimin really knocks it out of the park performing this too. He''s spoke of it in documentaries as difficult to do during a concert due to the dark nature of the song, but he has delivered when doing this live by performing it beautifully vocally and physically.
Though Jimin did take a hand in songwriting and such (the process of which is in that Wings documentary) we can't forget DOCSKIM as the producer for this track. From tearing it up onstage with Epik High to working with Seo Taiji, he's a legend. If any other BTS fan doesn't know these artists, BTS have worked with them before too. Suga took a hand in producing Epik High's Eternal Sunshine and BTS done their own rendition of Come Back Home (which I'm sure a lot of people have already seen clips of).

lie is such a mesmerizing song. it’s from 2016, so almost half a decade old, but still feels fresh and exciting every time i listen to it.
i love how complex it is, i don’t think this song could work for many people. Jimin is definitely a massive part of how impressive this song is - i don’t think anyone could do it justice after him
