Thanks for checking out this video, I really appreciate it! I spent a lot of time finding the best mods that achieved what CDPR's original goals were with Cyberpunk 2077 and hope you enjoy my list :) All the mods used are in the description.
Thanks for the video! I had seen a few of these mods already and put them in my favorites list over on Nexus. Here's hoping they will either work or be updated to work once 1.7 comes out. A shame that the Edgerunner's Mansion is only accessible via that dinky elevator. I had hoped for something more ... extravagant. @@awesomeanbar9402 I just beat it yesterday and sadly i just feel disappointed. The game is absolutely incredible and made me feel attached to it in a way i didnt really think possible just for the story to fall flat and leave the game feeling extremely empty once you beat the main quests. It feels a lot like Game of Thrones in the same way was its such an incredible piece of art that was sadly ruined by lack of vision and time... If only we got the game that was promised. One day we might get a sequel, hopefully funded by a studio that is ready to commit the money and time it will actually take to make the game as good as it could have been
The level scaling in Cyberpunk is one of the big irritations I had with it - and with the Witcher 3 as well. If levels were tied to enemy types rather than to zones, it would much better show off your character growing more powerful and respected - at the beginning, you could fight minor level gangsters, but if you tried going up against a heavily armed corporate soldier you'd get overpowered and easily killed. Instead, the main storyline has you going up against corporate elites in the first act, only to struggle against common thugs if you go into the wrong area.
I was expecting cyberpunk to have more life sim elements to make you feel more lived in night city, and I’m sad that there’s very little based around that. I want to feel my progression as I get more street cred and money, and I’m sure there’s some mods for it already
I'm guessing you're not checking your texts, thats your life sim elements, people giving you updates on various tasks you did before, even giving you gifts, sending you photos, etc. Your complaint is one people have been talking about since Skyrim, where few people recognize your greatness, the Fallout series just added key characters later on, but most devs know its not needed, mainly because players respond well to personal bubbles of recognition. Just like the Witcher games.
i'd really like to see a Delamin mod that lets you call up Delamin and actually get driven by him around Night City like the Taxi service he is SUPPOSED to be lol
Especially since handling in this game sucks! I tend to stay away from cars and stick to bikes because they just handle the road better and don't slide all over the place. Where as every other car in the game feels like its an advertisement for "drifting" to me.
@@brianegendorf2023 bro don’t get me started haha. I came to cyberpunk after playing basically nothing but GTA online and Forza horizon. My first experience driving in night city I crashed into literally everything Bc the handling is so wonky!

Thanks for an entertaining and informative experience!
Great video. My biggest complaint for the game is how empty this MEGA city is. We have huge traffic jams in normal cities, Night city should be a nightmare to drive through.
@@MinosML as now is totally fun driving around in empty streets, especially in the outskirts. Heavy traffic could be implemented for some hours of the day so that you would be forced to use a bike to navigate this hell or maybe a limited battery flying car!!! @Mauro Mendoza lmao you're the only here that doesn't want immersion In a Cyberpunk game. Like really if you don't want it on give this man an empty NC in settings. While the rest of us get the open world we deserved.
My biggest gripes about the game are: 1) That into timeskip was such a great part that they cut, honestly saddened by that. It made our attachment to Jackie weak because rather than having him grow on us as a character over multiple hours, he is just killed after a couple hours in. Soo much wasted potential and for 10 years of planning, it is stupid how short the story is. 2) The fact that you can not hack pedestrians, police and objects around the city. I was expecting Watchdogs level of hacking (yea I know it was unrealistic) but there are soo many times in the game where its like "X hacked the entire city" or "X was hacked and turned into a cyberpsycho". While it is insanely overpowered how it is in the game, the lack of ability to hack things that aren't enemies is disappointing consider once you reach Tech 20 you are the equivalent to a god in the Cyberspace. With that level of skill I should at the very least be able to hack those in the poorer areas with often black market chrome. 3) The lack of clothing options, this is something with GTA V as well, the amount of clothing options are severely limited compared to what you see NPCs wear. Soo many outfits I see that I think "I want that" only to eventually find out its an NPC only item. 4) Lack of life paths, it would have been soo good to have created my own corp. When I heard of the life paths I was like "I want to make a business and make it rise to the top" or "It would be soo cool to cheese the game by hiring security and steamrolling missions."
@@DirtyDev Yea, though I am sure there are rumours of a third-person camera in the works considering the job listings for a 3D person camera dev for the CP project released by CDPR.

Something I notice a lot of people miss about that final mansion is that it's literally right outside your starter apartment. When you get into the AV ride, you look directly into your old window.
@@LecherousLizard Yes but most people never paid attention to the apartment/ house as it was to the right of the view. One of the best and most useful mods rendition videos I've seen for cyberpunk. You captured the entire essence of how modding improves gameplay. While keeping the video crisp and short
When it comes to streetstyle, you get a better 'buff' from having all items match their tags, than going thru each item and finding the stat you want to buff, tbh. As for the styles. Entropism is basically 'substance, over style' its Workwear, utility over looks. Steel toe boots, raggedy clothes or stuff that's made to last, rather than to look good. Kitsch is 'style, over substance' your standard sporty gear like leggings, trainers, tracksuit jackets. But also flashy gear like name brands (lower end, not designer) if its a bit tacky, flashy or plastic, its Kitsch. NeoKitsch is 'style, above all else'. Designer labels, antique items and things to shock or stand out. All fur coat and metallic bikini stuff. Lots of gold, fake leather or fur. Think Versace or Channel over Adidas or Burberry lol. NeoMilitarism is 'substance, above all' its all about physical protection, but the Corpo style versions get to look sleek while doing it. The New Military style lol. Think army surplus, crossed with rich people uniform's.

The game isn't exactly broken, if anything it's missing a number of things I'm sure they intended to finish but definitely couldn't. Hopefully they will add to the game before Phantom Liberty but who knows...
Correct me if wrong but after the first 6 hours of gameplay, there's this fast montage that basically serves as a timeskip and plops you into being the equivalent of a street kid no matter which lifepath you actually choose. This was the showstopper for me, on top of marketing and execs making terrible decisions that now the devs have to try and make up for in the years to come, because it makes the lifepaths futile as there should've been contrasting scenes between being a street kid and a former corpo at the bare minimum.
@@autotropicplaybench1819 Yeaaaah most systems and mechanics were severely underdeveloped on launch, but life paths was among the most obvious. To be fair, interactive novels is a genre that a lot of people enjoy - it was especially trendy around the time when they started development on Cyberpunk, as I recall. In some ways, Cyberpunk 2077 is like a next generation interactive novel; all about the story, the gameplay is just there to get you to the next plotpoint.
@@sambaldwin3724 Most RPGs find some balance between action and story, with some focusing more on one or the other. Diablo 3, for example, is an RPG that focuses heavily on the action, with a story that serves mostly as an excuse to get the player into the gameplay (not that the story is bad) - which is pretty much the opposite of how Cyberpunk's gameplay exists almost entirely to lead the player to the next step in the story.
the gameplay definitely picks up once you reach a higher level and get augments like double jump and mantis blades. I would have done things differently (who wouldnt) but I dont think they dropped the ball when it game to overall core gameplay.
@@gangatalishis Not at all, that wasn't my point; my point is that the game is very heavily focused on the narrative, the story, and the gameplay exists to support the story, not the other way around. So people who go in, expecting a bunch of gunplay and running around, with perhaps a few cutscenes to explain the context, would be setting themselves up for disappointment, just by their own expectations.
"There's too many people on the road" road in this case being the pedestrian sidewalk..... edit: Better food buffs mod is great especially with street vendors.
The hate boner people get for this game is outrageous, it's just that people hear that the game is bad and then decide that it's bad because no one can have their own opinions in todays world.
I think it depends on whether you played it on release or a patched version later on, also probably depends on how good your hardware is. On release some consoles literally couldn't run it. I did find it enjoyable and completed it on my second playthrough. It was enjoyable, but it does get a little tedious if you try to do every side mission, I obviously gave up doing NCPD missions, and I think I didn't finish a few of the fixers, since completing some of them and receiving a crappy truck/car you will never use felt lackluster, since you get I believe the fastest car in the game for free after panam missions. The last version I played was a good game, but it's far from the product that was promised imo. The hardware at the time of release just wasn't there, the RTX 4090 card games should be able to do a lot more.
They’ve pretty much fixed it now, at least on ps5. Played it when it first came out and refunded it a couple days later. Now it’s one of my favourite RPGs. Can’t speak for other platforms but I’d recommend trying it again if you haven’t played it since launch.
this is awesome. Im def gonna check out the food vendor mod. I always told people, that Cyberpunk was like a beautiful painting. Awesome to look at, but thats about all you can do. So Im excited to jump back into this and interact with the world
It's pretty much fixed now. Also, it would take a lot of modding to make it into the game it should've been. My biggest disappointment was the lack of real consequence and choice in the quests. It sold itself initially as a deep roleplaying experience akin to tabletop games where you'd be able to make different choices about how to complete each quest and they would meaningfully change the outcome and way things played out. And that first quest where you go in to talk to the gang kind of does that, but then it's like, they had to rush the game and just weren't able to make all the quests that way. It's public knowledge that the development team knew the game needed at least 2 more years to be actually finished but management came to them like "yeah so this is coming out this year." It's all pretty well-documented at this point what happened. It's a real shame. I think people focus on the wrong parts of this game when the real issues with the game go a whole lot deeper than some bugs and not having flying cars. Also, Witcher 3 was just as buggy as Cyberpunk was at launch, and the NPCs in that are even worse. It baffles me how people act like that's some kind of perfect game yet Cyberpunk is awful. Witcher 3 was just as bad, y'all just thirsty for Geralt.
That is true my dude. It always make me chuckle when people assume that the main problems of cyberpunk were the bugs. Those can be always fixed but the game was supposed to be so much more. They advertised skyrim like sanboxy branching story revolution in gaming essentially and then they cut corners where they could just so they could release that. Funny that you mention Witcher 3 cause it had a similar fate actually. But more like in the tech department. It was also supposed to be way more ambitious project with crazy graphics and options and in the end with each trailer they released you could notice downgrades in graphics and also gameplay. The combat system was initialy supposed to be way more complicated and there were supposed to be a bit more mechanics. Some people from the studio said that they were so surprised that CDPR managed to pull of Witcher 3 as well as it did in the end cause apparently the whole company leadership and all was just a mess even back then and it truly backfired with the Cyberpunk.
The biggest disappointment for me is the fact that the main story is around 6 or 8 missions, AND the fact that we were literally spoiled almost half the missions. Just think back to all the trailers and gameplaye they showed, they practically showed the entirety of the maelstrom meat factory mission and the GIM. The world of cyberpunk is perfect, the story is really really really good but way too short.
"Fixed" meaning there will be no more huge gameplay updates. They're still fixing ridiculous bugs. The photos for updates feature people shooting from a motorcycle and IT'S NOT IN THE GAME. You can only shoot from vehicles during scripted playable cutscenes. HOW LAME IS THAT?!
@@nigel-uno Yeah I tell people they can thank the developer's management team for that. Cyberpunk was literally robbed because management couldn't be patient and wanted to shortcut the game. They reaped what they sowed. The devs did what they could with the time they were given; they did not deserve any of the vitriol
You should definitely consider making more content. This video was great your way of talking and joking was fresh and entertaining! This video also blew up lol
Little nitpick 😛 David's mansion in Edgerunners and the one you get in the game aren't the same. Yes they share the same design but are located in different locations : megabuilding H8 for the mansion in Edgerunners and near megabuilding H10 for the game (you can see it from V's default apartement)
Love the list, you should set up a mod collection so others can easily install this setup. I do think that vehicle flight is a bit overpowered because it has no real restrictions from the start. I wonder if you can change the setup so it only applies to certain vehicles and requires a specific perk or something to activate.
Yeah, even in the TTRPG not every car was a flyer. There are specific vehicles that can fly. Just make those available at a certain point or via certain mission.
Level Scaling and Balance Mod: there 5 different versions of this mod. The regular version of this mod (version #1) will raise low level enemies to about your level, but does nothing to lower high-level NPCs down to your level. The one I think you are describing here is #5 ""Level Scaling with No Minimum Levels" (found in Optional Files): sets the minimum levels to 1 so all enemies are always your level." It doesn't say anything about lowering high-level NPCs. Has anyone tried it? Does it lower rando Valentino mobs down to your level?
@@kingLuu816 I am not sure. The Witcher 3 had the problem that random city guard morons would absolutely stomp Geralt early in the game. That was just stupid. When playing Witcher 3 I always installed the mod that lowered the level of the city guards to Geralt's level. There is no way a random city guard should slaughter Geralt, not even in the early game. Random street thugs should never just blow away V early in the game just because they live in a certain part of the city. Street thugs are street thugs. They should always be punks.
It works really well. Pair it with his other mod that lets you scale the damage that enemies can deal and it makes pretty much every combat encounter a little more tactical.
@@jordanpickthall0619 In what way does it 'work really well'? Does it do what this video says? Will it lower the level of random Valentino and 6th Street thugs on the street down to V's level? The only reason I'm asking is that I don't intend to reinstall and replay the game until the 1.7 update and DLC comes out, so I can't really test it myself.
This video showed up in my recommended right when I needed it. Started my second play through a little bit ago and realized how mundane it got. Thank you! Also why you got shorty double cheeked up in the thumbnail like that ;)
just replayed the game and the biggest problem with the game is the shitty minimap that doesn't show fuckin anything unless it's highlighted. So a fast travel spot could be within 50m of you but it doesn't highlight until it's in your FOV and within 20m. Extremely annoying kills flow
There also was/is a mod that added the subways from the trailer as alternative fast travel. I dunno if it's still being updated but it was pretty damn sweet at the time
Time Dilation Overhaul is a great mod too if you tweak it :) It allows enemies who have sandevistans to be similar speed to you when you use yours, and many other things.
Don't forget katana reflect and teleport Loved that mod so much, if the sandevistan that let you katana deflect was as absolutely broken as some of the other ones I'd have tried to beat the game with deflects/melee only

@@c4_yrslf726 right. From what I've heard about this game it has big TPS issues. Enemies sometimes can't even see you just cause they don't have enough TPS to even process the fact that they detected you before they are killed.
@@mrtimurer Right, but you understand that's because of the lack of technology available? They're actively working on projects that have no precedent to make this game work. Their strides are remarkable and if they keep this going, server meshing and persistent streaming are not too far and will be a game changer. They have already optimized so much, servers are now 100 players instead of 50 from back in the day. Enemies were bugged depending on if the server was saturated which was often, but now everything is running a lot better, it still happens though that enemies are less than responsive.

One day we might get a sequel, hopefully funded by a studio that is ready to commit the money and time it will actually take to make the game as good as it could have been
calling it now I bet Starfield will be another cyberpunk, with its missed potential and (singleplayer)

@@MinosML as now is totally fun driving around in empty streets, especially in the outskirts.
Heavy traffic could be implemented for some hours of the day so that you would be forced to use a bike to navigate this hell or maybe a limited battery flying car!!!

@dj Kplus I’m at 50-60% and has happened only once for me so far. City felt alive. Hope we had more of this.
@Mauro Mendoza lmao you're the only here that doesn't want immersion In a Cyberpunk game. Like really if you don't want it on give this man an empty NC in settings. While the rest of us get the open world we deserved.
In ps5 the city is full of people
My biggest gripes about the game are:
1) That into timeskip was such a great part that they cut, honestly saddened by that.
In defense of the lack of clothing options. It’s not like you see your character much anyway so it kinda doesn’t matter.

This was heavily referenced in their pre-launch marketing, but ultimately these terms had nothing to do with gameplay. Just more empty promises.
The game isn't exactly broken, if anything it's missing a number of things I'm sure they intended to finish but definitely couldn't. Hopefully they will add to the game before Phantom Liberty but who knows...
I just hope when they make a sequel that they include everything they originally promised.
It's just an intro picker that serves no meaningful purpose otherwise. Just changes up some dialogue, not even choices or anything that could affect gameplay, it just adds a few extra lines of dialogue here and there.

I love how Cyberpunk2077 did everything on an amazing scale: Story, Visuals, Music, Clothing... but gameplay... they forgot about gameplay...
@@LadyDoomsinger low-key this is just any RPG.

Great Modding Bro, Finally some release to see the game is more interesting than before
ill be honest, i never had any game breaking bugs or issues during my 150 hour playthrough. Really enjoyed the game
Lucky you man 😭

this is awesome.
Witcher 3 was just as bad, y'all just thirsty for Geralt.
the hoes in the witcher are better

That ruins the RPG in the game if all enemy are scaled to your level..

@@tarkungZ They are literally both open-world games set in a city with grand-theft elements. In terms of story, the main difference is GTA has hard protagonists whereas CP2077 has a soft one.
Great video it's been in my recommendation for ages glad I watched it
Good luck to your channel mate, great content
Forgive my ignorance, I happened to find this channel randomly and you sound like Lynx Kameli. Would that happen to be you?
Edit: It is!!! So happy to have found you again. One of my fav ff14 youtubers doing other games I enjoy! Big props to you on this video, hoping you get huge success on this channel with your storytelling and commentary!
Thanks man :D
@@LynxOnline Of course! Do you happen to stream anywhere?
Not at the moment I’m just enjoying the holidays but next year I’ll be getting back into it and uploading a lot more!
@@LynxOnline Awesome! I'll keep an eye out, enjoy the holidays!
V should have the ability to take over NPC drones, the same way V has the ability to take over other cameras, and gun turrets. @7:22 is that really the elevator from V's mansion?
Yes it is.
With all the bugs, it's still an amazingly fun and beautiful game
So good ❤
im 120 hours into the game now and barely had any bugs, are you playing on pc or console?
I don't even play this game and your video manage to help me know/understand the game. Nice!
I like whenever I randomly get recommended a diamond in the Mine. Take my sub, good Sir.
Man, imma be honest. No one can ever make this game into what it should have been and I'm not even talking about empty promises, I'm talking about the overall polish level and depth of the gameplay.
I think it's definitely possible, I'm also following Star Citizen's development. It's basically a CP2077 but less neo and 900 years in the future with even more ambitions. They've been in development for a decade now and they've achieved something that no other game has ever done and the game is only beginning. Just don't hope for it to be done this decade either.
@@c4_yrslf726 Man, you will be disappointed. The game has to have a reasonable point where devs stop developing new features and it seems like this game doesn't. Did they promise like 12 systems? Even with the current amount of content the game has terrible TPS and there is no way to have above 30 TPS with current tech and their budget. The only way I see this game not being a disappointment is if it releases around the same time it's set in. In 900 years.
@@mrtimurer I'm not dissappointed, I already have my money's worth in the current form of the game. SC really is something special but I understand why some people are skeptical. Though, could you develop on the TPS part? I assume you're talking about ticks per second?
Another I would like to add is extra body cyberware, like a chrome arm (and not realskin (The brand) like we do in the game), or leg, or chrome skin, hell even add a full body conversion option
I just finished the game in my PS5, and I had a blast. These mods look cool but honestly, the game as it is it's great.
This was an amazing video! Thank you for these mod recommendations. I don't use mods and don't travel in mod circles so being made aware of these mods was great.
yo bro i fucking love your commentary you sound like a fun guy to hang out with xd
