You are able to radically lower the amount of boost that you need to build stuff by capturing some countries in the equator as i they will give off a huge bonus to the boost.
A few observations which I think might help: Most importantly, the bulk of your launch capacity from Kazakhstan is going to Russia because they are both in a federation together. To increase your boost income either get more control points in Russia or use set policy in Kazakhstan and leave the federation, although that might leave you open to an invasion by Russia if you can't get some strong allies. This could jump start your space economy and get you to Mars before everyone else. I think focusing on a single global tech might be a good idea, so you can start guiding the research a little. Unless all 3 of them are really important for your plans you can normally ignore 1 or 2 of the global techs and let the other factions progress them. Relying on the rng of all 3 techs being picked by other factions is a bit risky in my opinion. I think you are worrying too much about having positive income on all your agents. It doesn't matter if a few of them aren't making you lots of money or influence, you can make it up elsewhere and as their stats increase their incomes will increase too. Money is pretty easy to come by most of the time and once you get a couple of bases on Mars you can sell excess materials for tons of cash. Don't worry about upkeep on orgs unless it is -400 or something crazy. If you do get low on cash you can always run a couple of spoils for a turn or three to cover up a small deficit. Money upkeep shouldn't be a problem and definitely not a reason to pass up on a good org. If you are going to go for USA in a serious way then you will need to abandon almost all of your other countries(you might be able to hang onto Kazakhstan just because the boost is so worth it). USA is VERY heavy on the control point upkeep. So if you are going for USA long term then I think it is a bit of a wasted opportunity building up their long term economy, research and space programs in the likes of Yemen and Jordan etc... Most of those countries you will have to abandon anyway once you get the USA so maybe just use spoils on them until you can grab USA and then dump them. You can get a huge amount of cash in a very short span from those oil rich countries.
Hey! Thanks for the thoughtful comment and tips. I have made Kazakhstan leave the federation in later recording (recording is a few ahead of uploads) it has made a significant effect. Took me a while to realise how much it was draining. Had wanted to get more control of Russia rather but that didn't work out. You're right I will have to start abandoning nations. Get a bit sunk cost attached. Might try burning them a bit and experimenting with that. I have tried to avoid developing space programs in any nations that don't have though. (though I might have missed some) Thanks again
I'm playing the middle east and using the huge amount of cash to purchase Mars bases from other factions and bribing them for protection. Also buying their tech. I've got the Iran federation, Sweden federation, and a few months from the Egypt federation.

Yup. Truth! I'm thinking of doing a bit of a reorganisation of nations based on things I've learnt since starting
it's time to save the earth.
by running in the opposite direction where the aliens are coming From :D
*The project exodus*
😂 Just makes me think of that meme of chubby girl running away
