Great video! The mechanic did a fabrastic job explaining, and I really appreciate how articulate he is. Something so simple as clear, clean, crisp English, with the right vocab, intonation, pace, tone, and volume, makes the video so good. His general way of explaining, makes it SO SOOOO much easier to follow, (and remember!), this surprisingly involved installation. If not for a few complex parts, you could almost go on voice alone with this! Content doesn’t seem to miss a step. The mechanic takes great care in modifying the body piece, which is something I didn’t foresee. Pleasantly surprised at the price job he did. Only recommendation is to video edit this, fast forwarding the redundant parts like driving in the same bolts four times, then again four times the other side. The video could be 1/3 of the current length, and the brevity would make it even more sharp and helpful! I realize this may have been produced years ago with the 2018 model BMW being used, but nowadays in 2022, there should be easy capability to make those edits 😉 Thank you again! This video applies to all BMW X5 Built from 2007 to 2018. So despite a facelift to the taillights this video is still the same installation
This isn’t even close to a 2018. The last year that body style was available was 2013.
@Tommy Mills, I have a 2016 BMX X5 Xdrive 35i. Did you buy this ? How did it work out?
I agree it looks like mine an E70 X5. Model range comething like 2009-2016 I think

While the exact vehicle we used was not a 2018, the installation process is identical!
