Great video. I can’t wait to add this to my x7 I would say if you where going to do any heavy towing breaks would be a big upgrade but little looked over thing is the trans cooler. I know on the older x5 cars they have an upgraded one for cars with tow package. And they run cooler when you are towing. It’s all controlled by trans cooler thermostat. I wonder if that’s something that can be coded on our cars.

I never got to see an updated review of your "Android Apple Carplay Unit" and am curious on how you feel about it now and if it still works? How do i know if my x7 has the 8sl option from factory?

You can call the dealer and ask for the window sticker, they should be able to send it to you or use a BMW VIN decoder online, it will tell you all the options on your car.

Why don't you grease hitch ball? Or it was cleaned for video?

I wiped it off so it didn’t look dingy in the video. People complain about the smallest things (I know I’ll get comments about the car not being washed!), so I tried to make it look decent in the video. Thanks for watching!

The ball hitch should not be greased because there is normally contraption which uses break pads to prevent the trailer from swaying. Any lubricant would remove the friction of the pads from doing as it should
