WOW - this video was extremely thorough and detailed. I watched it, step by step, while installing my hitch and it made a world of difference. I'm pretty mechanically inclined, but removing body panels seemed daunting. Using this video, I knew exactly what tools I would need and was able to get a nice clean install with no damage to my Beamer. Well done! For my 2015 BMW X5 50i, I did not need to trim any of the bumper, which was great.
This video was amazing. So helpful and I was able to install while taking my time within a few hours. You guys are absolute pros. Great job! Especially given COVID lockdowns, I didn't have an extra set of hands so ended up hooking bungee cables through the reflector holes and strapping up to my garage door rails. I covered the fender trim pieces with microfibre cloths to prevent scratching. This allowed lots of breathing room to support removal and reinstall of the bumper skin itself. Add in some blankets and cardboard on the ground as a 'just in case' measure and it was great. Fewest broken clips ever! The job took me about 3.5 hours while taking my time, doing it solo, broke my plastic trim tool, and was working in very little space due to blowing snow outside and keeping the garage door closed. For the next update, a reference to wiring would be helpful. Thanks so much!

Great video. Looking to get this setup for my 2016 X5 MSport. Is there any modification (cutting) of the bumper fascia what so ever?
