Boxing 101!!! And a future world champion you have there! Thanks for sharing! Tyson Fury used this against Wilder a lot, but it looked like wilder was able to keep his distance a couple of times and caught Fury! It's surprising to see a guy as big as Fury with good head movement and footwork. He is a sleeper, doesn't really look like a fighter who is in shape, but deceptive in his case! :-)
@ I'm 50 years old 5'11" and 220lbs with 9% body fat. I LOOK in shape.. I can do 4 x 3 min rounds and then I'm puking. There's correlation but shape and fitness are not the same thing.
Rob Scott one of the cons of bending at the waste, it can be timed but it is one of the most effective defensive techniques in boxing but with anything it can be countered and this is exactly what happened to fury but the mistake he made was that he kept his bent over for too long and was also doing it for the duration of the fight and he got timed but this is why it is important to move your body and head in all different directions so one can be unpredictable!
@@MrSmurf459 well every move in boxing has a counter, its impossible to find something that has no counter, for example, if you throw an uppercut you are countered by hooks, if you bend at waist you slip hooks and right hands but countered by uppercuts, the real skill is to know when to use it

So easy to learn, and guys that have put so many more hours in then me have so much trouble with me because I've just really gotten comfortable with my defense and the few shots I do from it. I've also adapted philly shell to MMA with Dominique Cruz Style head movement, and the lead low hand defends the lead leg. I get not liking the drop with the straight right hand, but it's GOLD for protecting yourself from overhand rights.
