I have been watching your video while doing my exercise on my gazelle glider. I look forward to seeing something new every time I watch it. Thank you for sharing and making a nice addition to my morning routine.
Great video, I worked in London for many years and it was good to be reminded of all my old haunts. Watching you ride I don’t know what was more frightening, the busses in regent st or the tourists on the south bank. You are certainly a braver man than me. One small point, when you say you are going under Blackfriars bridge at 26:26 it is of course Waterloo bridge.
Glad you enjoyed it and yes spot on with the bridges,. Doh! Look out for my livestream next Sunday 18th April 2021 where I play out each episode and talk about what I wanted to show (will be available as a video itself, later).

I guess bicycles aren't allowed on sidewalks at all. What about a motorized bicycle? Not a motorcycle.... I wonder what their rules are on that? Hmm...
I thought as I am not a cyclist but I do have an exercise bike, I thought I would do a virtual ride whilst doing my daily exercise due to lockdown. So I selected this ride around central London but was surprised how many times this gent broke the law. Riding on the pavement in Regent Street almost hitting a mother with pram and toddler, going through no entry signs(I mean what is it there for) and going through red lights. Very disappointed with this ride through London as I kept shouting what are you doing.
Great tour of the city, but dreadful cycling provision - having to squeeze between cars, vans and buses, and no dedicated cycle lanes. A very long way to go before London is a cycle friendly city. One could never just hop on a bike, pop their child in the child seat and safely cycle through the city of London.
In Japan you can and cycling is great fun here (you can switch between being a "pedestrian" or "road vehicle" at will. And the cops don't care, they're doing it too!), all the headcam footage I've seen of cycling in the UK looks scary. I don't exactly live in a small town either!
Great video but you really must learn some respect for people walking. You're on a bike you cannot just cut infront of their natural path. Almost everyone you cut in front of had to stop in their tracks so you could pass. Like I said good video but cmon dude at least go behind the people walking across the street.
This person is going slow enough that people have time to adjust their "natural path", as is the person on the bike... Are you not aware that keeping an eye out is part of the culture in big cities?
You guys need to figure out how to filter out that breezy sound. It really makes your journey suck and i was let down as I was looking forward to the trip. I couldn't really just turn the sound down and played a music cd or something but then it wouldn't be a "real time" thing. No?
Nice video showing poor cycling - including not giving way to pedestrians who have priority and cycling through red lights! Riding on pavements . Think this should be sent to the police !! This is a prime example of why cycles should show registration plates so greater prosecutions should result. You need some cycle training !!! And that is from a cyclist car and van driver!!
Thanks uploader. I lived & worked in London for years. I sat on my exercise bike and cycled along. Superb!
Beautiful city !!! Amazing video

Great Video - x
thanks for sharing buddy.. man I would've been waay too anxious to be cycling through a place so crowded like London. Well done buddy :)
thanks for the workout, back tomorrow haha
superb, just done it on my exercise bike here in France, lovely memories from when I worked there>Can we have some more please?
Thanks for the ride ;)
nice camera work, London is great to cycle, but man the buses are a pain
Nice R107 on the left at 1:18.
Nice video mate! Though I'm never in favour of cycling on the path..Especially in the city. So dangerous
very nice video.
could you tell me which font you used for writing please?
Nice video, thank you. Any chance you have a copy where nothing has been sped up? Those parts made me ill.
Me too people just like to stare at me so much which makes me more anxious and embarrassing
Streets are too narrow for the cars.
Brave person riding in London. Do you know your average speeds here?
A red traffic light, does that mean something?
😂
by car, this video would have been 4 hours long !!!
Cool video, but I wish you didn't speed up some parts.
this city desert makes me feel so cold it's got so many people but it's got no soul
No soul so all them bands playing soldiers lining the streets and police doing there jobs London got a lot of soul compared to other cities
@1:11 surely your turning left not right? Nice video anyway
what is more efficient cycling through london or taking the tube station?
Cindybin2001 my dear you are a loooney toon there is nothing wrong with alcohol

All I can say is that it was a long time ago and I am older and wiser!

Totally agree, absolutely no cycling provision along the river or much at all. Shame. Have cycled in Dutch cities and it was heaven.
Years
Is it true that London residents are allowed to cycle on the pavements? :D
+Luke Hynes no and you would most definitely have a few pedestrians making it clear
+Pandora Glennie cant run red lights either contrary to what you just saw :)

Where's your fine and precious immigrants egh??
this is london, not bitchville where you're from matt. if the people aren't buggered then why are you. fuck off
