I've been a fan since the early 90's. I'd already heard/seen the tribute to Carlin and all the jokes, but the way you juxtaposed them is is really terrific. Great video!
I just love this. I think Louis is so inspirational, talking about his inspiration. I can tell this comes right from his heart; is true and that George Carlin meant alot to him. Thank you George, and thank you sooooo much Louis (the best) CK.
very cool to hear him talk about how he turned the corner from average tepid comedian to the yearly special star status with a successful cable show. I always try to catch him when he's a guest on talk shows too, always entertaining.
our newer generation of comedians doesn't have that sharp yet. What a mystery linguist we lost. Carlin knew how to use words in a way that you experience a joke better than anybody else.
I've been trying hard for a while now to appreciate him. I really don't see what's so amazing about him. He's a good comedian. Nothing out of the ordinary
God Dammit Louis. I wanna bear hug the fuck outta you right now. I'll always miss Carlin. I'm an inspiring comic myself from small town Mn. And now Louis is my generation's Carlin. Thus shit had me in tears. No funny here, just...the how it really is. Rest in peace Carlin and hicks.
I met a man at an AA meeting in california that both looks and sounds EXACTLY like george carlin. and I mean exactly. So if you've got a theory that he isn't dead, there you go.
Your editing is fantastic, man. Really well done.
I'm glad you squeezed in a bit from one of his 40+ visits on Opie and Anthony. Greatest 100 or so hours of radio.

Amazing video. I genuinely would hug Louis if I saw him, as much as he would hate that
This was really nice.
This video should be called "What Louis CK learned from George Carlin" - but it IS a great evolution!
Louis Is the Carlin of my generation.
I am SO GLAD that Louis CK did this
God Dammit Louis.

Louis CK looks *nothing* like his younger self! It astounds me greatly.
@shreddmasterj I see what you're getting at, but that's unlikely.
14 people like Dane Cook
Classiest motherfucker in comedy.
It's hilarious how shitty of a comedian he use to be... I'm glad he finally became funny because he's my favorite comedian now. lol
10 people are deer.
(Sorry.)
@Seriath1 No, Larry the Cable Guy is their humor and stereotype. This is humor for middle class white people that didn't have a sense of humor.
Dane Cook made 15 TH-cam accounts to dislike this
They are called jokes.
