  • In this video, I shoot one architecture/interior shot with every lens in my kit bag at a derelict mansion in Istanbul. These lenses include the 17 & 24mm TS-E, the 15-35mm f/2.8 RF, my 50mm f/1.8 RF, and the EF 85mm f/1.8 from the old times! Can we nail a shot on every lens - lets try!
    WE UPLOAD EVERY SUNDAY - 7PM GMT.
    If you enjoyed this video, please consider giving it a thumbs up and let me know what you think in the comments below - I guarantee I will get back to you. Thanks for watching everyone - See you soon! James.

    Lovely location; the radiators are really impressive and ornate

      Well - I have the R5 now. So, I won't be. Depends on your needs. And in architecture - it was always over-looked.

    That 2nd room, ornate white I believe is what you called it? Gorgeous! The skylight and the ceiling leading up, the radiator, the multi-colored glass in the top of the door opening. Absolutely stunning! Even dirty and peeling!
    This entire place is just breathtaking! Such a shame it's in this state of disrepair. Someone with a bank account a bit larger than mine should scoop it up and restore it! The tile work and ceilings are more than worth it.

      Ornate and white indeed. Yeah beautiful room indeed. :)

    Glad to see the return and good video idea. Even on the closeup shot you had to get the lines perfectly straight - it's an addiction 😂

    What a great personal project. I carry two additional lenses in my bag (sometimes 3) and never use them! Lol

    HI James , my name is Ronald Duverge , I am originally from Dominican Republic but at the moment am living in Belgium , I am a so happy I started following your channel since a wile now , I had learned so much of your techniques and methods, I had started photography like 18 years ago as a hobby ! before I was mostly busy with my career as an visual artist +interior designer ,but my plan is to make photography my full time job ,because the last 10 years I haven't done more than this, travelling in Europe & America with my camera , any way I know you are one man show and you are very busy ,but if you ever crash Belgium or Netherlands please lets me know because it is too much I will learn from you. and there is a couple of places I know by heart you will love to shoot so I believe a collaboration will be massive beneficial for both of us .please keep the good work. thanks so much for sharing your work.

    It would have been great to see the same tripod location with all different lenses so you can get a better sense of how the lenses differ..! Kind of like the title suggests :D

    • @JamesKerwin
      @JamesKerwin  ปีที่แล้ว

      Its every lens in my bag. Mostly the lenses just differ on focal length. I can happily do another one keeping the tripod position - sure. Did it yesterday (live) to a workshop group.
