18th of Safar marks the blessed Urs Celebration of our beloved grand sheikh Khwaja Mansur Muhammed Hussain Shah RA
Khwaja Mansur was generous like the sea and hospitable like the earth. Today, his dargah, with its saintly white dome hosts thousands of devotees who soak in the generosity of his blessings.
It was this affection and love for all of humanity that attracts thousands of devotees regardless of caste and creed.
Khwaja Mansur was of the Chisti order and obtained khilafat in all 4 silsilas
The Chisti order was founded by Sheikh Abu Ishaq Shami in Chisht some 95 miles east of Herat in present-day western Afghanistan. Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti then established the order in India, in the city of Ajmer in Rajasthan after direction from the Holy Prophet ﷺ
Devotees from far and wide
Khwaja Mansur was born in the village of Ormiya India. After serving his Piro murshid Khwaja Malik shah continuously he received Khilafat at the age of 24. He spent his life in the remembrance of God and serving humanity. His final resting place is in the village of Hansot.
His chief successor was his eldest son Khwaja Kalimullah Makki who continued to spread the sacred teachings of mutual love, harmony and peace amongst all mankind. He now rest in the holy city of Makkah in Jannatul Mala. Amongst the other khalifahs, Khwaja Yusuf Madni of Zanor India settled in Blackburn and established the tarika in the Uk. He now rest in the holy city of Madinah in Janatul Baki.
His other successors (Khalifas) included his other 2 sons and the tarika continues to thrive under their guidance.
