I agree 100%. Remember, when you are playing music in front of other people you are supposed to be playing music that they can enjoy and you don’t have to play like Malmsteen to do that. Simple playing gets the job done.

This person is so right with his statements, it's unbelievable.
With all the videos. You can see that he has a lot of experience and, like all guitarists, has been through all the highs and lows, depending on his own level. I often sit in front of my laptop and have to keep nodding and agreeing with you 😄
Thank you very much for your work.
By the way, I wish you a successful new year 2024.

Thanks much for the lesson. I learned a lot in few mins. I do disagree with some points especially « sticking to what you know when soloing » but overall very informative video.

By not sticking to what you know is what Frank Zappa means when he says a solo is a unique "solo" experience, It has to to be unique each time.@@mrfairact8662

Bass player here. Great advice you're giving. It's hard to change the way we practice, but we need to change if what we are doing is not working. Sometimes we need to retrain our brain. 👍

    Okay. I’ve always wondered:
What are those little weird two or three finger chord looking notes you’re playing on that walk down around 0:06 called?
Richie Sambora uses them in “Wanted Dead or Alive”; Jimmy Page uses them a lot. They’re everywhere in blues. But, I can’t find out what they’re called and the theory on how to make them.
Could you do a video on those?

I'm still focusing on doing small patterns repetition and I'm slowly day by day getting quicker and a little more accurate I know it's going to take a while but that's okay.
