Who is Lal Bahadur Shastri?
Lal Bahadur Shastri, (born October 2, 1904, Mughalsarai, India-died January 11, 1966, Tashkent, Uzbekistan, U.S.S.R.), Indian statesman, prime minister of India (1964-66) after Jawaharlal Nehru.
A member of Mahatma Gandhi’s non-cooperation movement against the British government in India, he was imprisoned for a short time (1921). Upon release, he studied in the Kashi Vidyapitha, a nationalist university, where he graduated with the title of Shastri (“learned in the scriptures”). He then returned to politics as a follower of Gandhi, was imprisoned several more times, and attained influential positions in the Congress Party of the state of the United Provinces, now Uttar Pradesh state.

You missed most important part - exactly 13 days after his death another legend was killed in so called plane crash. Dr Homi Bhabha who was working on nuclear programme known secretly to Lal Bahadur Shashtri, him and very few people.
it was also known to nehru . but he died in 1964.
Homi Bhabha persuaded jawaharlal nehru to start an ambitious nuclear programme secretly.
In 1948, Nehru appointed Bhabha as director of nuclear programme and tasked him to develop nuclear weapons.
But in 1966, Homi jehangir bhabha was killed by CIA as they feared this person who could make india nuclear state single handedly.
Our nuclear scientist also died mysteriously before prime minister Shastri's death
Around 21 scientists were killed under congress rule and none of the cases were solved. This is just official number we dont know how many were killed unofficially. And guess what all those scientists were killed just before mega projects in isro. Even today there are evil organisations who want to destroy isro. We need to protect them. The first scientist they killed was Homi baba.
