    hello kris,
    By authentication of documents, do u mean that education certificates have to be attested by the ministry of foreign affairs in our country? I'm a little confused about this.

    • @krisekanem
      @krisekanem  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, that’s what I mean. Every country have an education board or ministry that can confirm or attest the originality of your certificates. The Turkish embassy wants you to authenticate your documents as proof that your certificate is original. In Nigeria, it’s important that you do this process at the ministry of education and foreign affairs respectively.

    • @krisekanem
      @krisekanem  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, it does. You will need health insurance after you come into Turkey. For your visa application, you’ll need travel insurance which you must purchase at the visa center. I believe it is included in your visa fee. After you have obtained your visa and are now in Turkey, you will need to buy health insurance as a requirement for your residence permit application.

      As an undergraduate, you cannot work until your 2nd year of studies. That’s the rule in Turkey.

    • @krisekanem
      @krisekanem  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, you don’t need to attach the testimonial from your school. Yes, you need to get two separate scratch cards for the two seatings, and you need to attach both waec results. (Except you’re saying you passed all 8 subjects required in the 2nd waec and do not need the first one. If that the case, you only need one waec certificate & scratch card). Most importantly, note that you are submitting photocopies of your waec to the embassy - not the originals.

    • @krisekanem

If your course is taught in Turkish, you’ll have to spend 1 year extra in Turkey to learn the language before beginning your main program.

      Yes, you can use your account. However, you have to be able to proof how you are able to get such amount of money for a student going for undergrad studies.
      Most times, it is advisable to use a sponsor for undergrad programs.
      With masters - you can show years of work experience and savings from these jobs as evidence on how you are able to finance yourself. If you have same work experience and can proof it, then you can sponsor yourself. Otherwise, it’s best to use your parents or family member as sponsors. It’s more genuine and gives you better chances.

      You cannot use both accounts. You have to put all the money in one account and present to the embassy. If you decide to use your sponsor’s account, the person has to write a letter of sponsorship. If you decide to use yours, you have to indicate in your letter of introduction that you will be sponsoring yourself completely for the entire duration of your study in Turkey.
