Thats a good list! For me as a self-driver i also use IBB Ceptrafik and the Museum app (since i like the Museums in general) What i miss in the video is the HGS/OGS app for all the self-drivers (like myself). HGS/OGS is sort of an express toll, you link the license plate, load up balance and then you can just go through the toll stations and all the toll-tunnels and bridges without the paying process, as long as there is enough balance on the account. I prefer the toll-highways because they're not as filled as the normal roads and are somewhat better quality (probably because its newer).

Museums of Turkey requests so much permissions, some related to security of cell. Another app fine for transfer money is "Wise". The tax is a little bit mor high, but is fast. Paysend doesn't work from some countries yet, for example, Brazil.

Do not rely on Uber. Have tried many times and never got a car. The app will continually say "looking for a driver for you" and then after 10 minutes it will say "sorry, we can't find a driver. Please try again later." A local friend just laughed when I asked about Uber and BiTaxi. Istanbul is even worse than Bangkok for getting a taxi. Good luck.
@@robertlloyd3184 I used BiTaksi to get home before watching this video. It really depends what time of day it is. There's a strange thing in İstanbul where taxi drivers won't want your business if you're not going far during busy times. Demand is too high, they want longer distance fares, so they'll often turn you down. So at rush hour in the morning or evening, or between 21:00 and 00:00 on a Friday or Saturday... forget it. At normal times, Uber and BiTaksi work fine though.

It's important to note that foreign tourists using these apps could be VERY expensive, as for every transaction you will be charged by your bank a hefty currency conversion fees and then transaction fees. Be careful!

Really useful content for me who have a plan to explore Istanbul But i have questions about the food app and bike rent app. Do the both app only accept payments on the spot (usually i use "cash on demand" term) or can use digital payment like top up amount of money from mobile banking, ATM or minimarket (sounds silly but in my country we can do that) to the app wallet ? I have recently visited Turkey. One thing that was untoward was procuring buskart for different cities as one city kart would not be valid for the other. So my suggestion is why not have a single common kart that can be used in all cities of Turkey n could just be recharged in any city This could save a tourist time n money i.e card n balance left over. There cannot be a different municipality money collection problem as computer software can bifurcate their share automatically. Do you suggest a way to do so. Pls advise.....🌹☺️

Is pretty much the same, I use both and the only way I decide which one I use is when I receive money from certain countries. For example, sending money from Turkiye to Mexico I can easily do it through wise but when it comes to sending money from Mexico to Turkiye for some reason Turkiye has it blocked, so then is when Paysend comes handy for me 😀. Also you can check which one has a bit lower commission & better exchange rates for your currencies, is not much difference really but you can also compare them.

i was going to suggest Wise,, i use it all the time to transfer money to europe, it takes 4 hours, and the fees are very low, for €1000 they take €7.

Jordan is a whole different country with different services. So no, you cannot use Turkish services there.
