@@christhedrummerkimball - Thank you for the invitation, Chris! I may do so one day when I'm finally able to travel the World! 😀 I'm on the opposite side of the Pacific, in New Zealand! 😉 Greetings from far, far away! 😀

@@christhedrummerkimball - Yes, it sure is! Especially on the South Island! I live in Wellington (the capital) at the bottom of the North Island, and it's one of the World's windiest cities. But it's great otherwise! 😄 I've been to the US only a couple of times, for several-day stays in the California region on my way to/from Germany (my birth country) in 2007; I loved it there! I'll have to go back to your country one day and explore it some more! 😊
Great job on this Premier kit! If I bought something like that, I would buy new drumheads for the toms right off the bat. I'm not a big fan of pinstripes on budget kits.
I agree, but I'm trying to keep the price as low as possible. If I were to keep the kit for gigging (which I almost did) I'd probably put coated Ambassadors on it. Thank you for watching!
Yes, a highlight exclusive I've owned for many years! Here is a video with details about it: th-cam.com/video/7CRXXpWqIQQ/w-d-xo.html Thanks for watching!
Ha! Wait until you've mastered the pronunciation of Puyallup, and then trying saying Yakima, Sequim, Skykomish, Snohomish, and Geoducks. 🤪😈❤️❤️. Oh! Don't forget Lake Sammamish! Or, as a friend of mine from Las Vegas used to call it, "Lake Ham Sandwich". LOL.
Exactly! It really makes me wince when I see nice instruments--or even inexpensive ones--neglected and abused. I guess that's why I like making these videos--it gives me a reason to restore kits so someone else can enjoy them. I wrote a few blogs on "Medium.com" awhile ago, and one of them expressed my disdain (and that's too mild a word) for musicians who destroy their instruments on stage. It makes me sick to see that!
Chris, this was an amazing transformation! Ivy loves the kit and is excited to practice every day. Thanks for helping us afford such a nice set.
Thanks for watching! I'm so glad the kit went to such a deserving young drummer.
Great job, Chris! 😀 And what an awesome kit! 🙂 Am loving the connecting lugs in particular 🙂 That mountain was spectacular, too! 😀
It was a really nice kit, for sure. Thank you for watching--and if you ever get out to the Pacific Northwest, look me up!

@@mightyV444 I have a friend who visits New Zealand a lot, but I've never been. I hear it's beautiful.

A major buzzkill!😅

It bothers me how people store musical instruments! Couldn't someone at least cover the drum set with a tarp or an old blanket? Sigh...
