Check out the flite test guys. Their store seems to carry some of that light weight. I mean Canada and it cost me a small fortune. But that's where you have to get it
Matter Hakers ($65/spool) and just in the past 6 months FliteTest ($50+/spool +shipping ($60+)) have the ColorFabb material, but only the LW-PLA. Now you can get it directly from Colorfabb ($29/spool+$5 shipping).... probably to Canada too.... and you can get the other stuff they have too
Thank you for these updates, I too had noticed that the eSun LW-PLA was nowhere to be found. I’m very curious about how your testing of LW-ASA turns out. Also have you worked with LW-PLA HT? it would be great to see if it prints similar to regular LW-PLA. Lastly, how do you print so many pieces at the same time. Due to oozing filament, I can’t print more than one object at a time. I had to do the cube test one cube at a time to determine the proper temp for my LW-PLA. I’m using eSun LW-PLA with BB X1C. I like your content, it is informative and down to earth.
I have not used the LW-PLA-HT yet, just got it, too hard to get before… soon. LW-ASA too. Working out a way to logically compare the three materials for these thin walled structures easily… many other materials to try also. The multiple part printing is done with regular PLA… my slope gliders fly great printed from PLA…. But can also be printed from the foaming and pre-foamed stuff with my slicer settings. Working on multi-part printing in the oozy materials, it’s now possible but complicated.
I used it for some testing parts of a fuselage too brittle not worth it lw-pla ht is not good for now... lw asa is better but still.. people use resin to coat the top layer to strenghten the layers. That works.
I tried printing with the LW-ASA. but ended up with spaghetti about halfway through. Do you have Bambu settings for LW-ASA? Thanks. Keep up the great videos.
I've found that with any ASA, adhesion becomes an issue. Gluestick with a PEI plate has been a must, and getting the chamber nice and warm before starting the print to reduce warping.
Thanks for the update Wayne
Bravo.thenks .go ahead

Hi 🙋♂️, when will come the edf update🙏😇
At 2:21 what emax servos are those?
ES 9052 MD
they are the little 5.5g metal gear digitals
Windcatcher is carrying 3D LabPrint's LW PLA now
Yep
