Electric is a whole different breed ! Mishima players dash in and then do the electric so it aligns with the opponent ! If they just do it after the move yess you can side step !

1:01 - you are only +1 off of heat burst on block, I think you may have got it mixed up with the heat smash on block with wall stun

3+4 in neutral game ! These are slow so can’t be used while poking your opponent !
Qcb1 is fast and use it a lot in neutral as well ❤️
After all of them 10 to 14f moves are guaranteed if your opponent press buttons ! Just be careful you hit high move and your opponent go for high crusher ! D23 df1112 df23 df21 after these moves !
Db3 is good it crushes highs ! In heat ff1+2

Great tips brother. I have also tested the punch parry, and now it only works at -5 or above, where in T7 i could do 1,2,1 into parry for example which was -6, but they nerfed the frames for it for some reason.
Boss that’s where ff1+2 becomes handy ! Use that parry and forget about the old one 🤭❤️ ff1+2 will even parry swords ;) plus wall splats ! Balcony break :3 🤩❤️

So sidestepping and any other action in Tekken doesn't fully depend on framedata. You just have to act depending on your opponents action. You can step even from -1000 frames if your opponent will do enough slow and enough linear move. Do not just focus on magical frames. This is important but it is not a most crucial thing. Just get a sence when you should to step and why you should do it

The part at 1:01 is a bit misleading. Manual heat activation is +1 on block and +2 on hit. Youre only +17 if youre landing a heat engager (which is a universal thing, everyone gets +17 after a heat engager, but Heat Burst on hit is +2 and on block its +1 so you can get mashed out or sidestepped if youre not careful)

Not really ! But they’ve mixed simple gatling rush with that blue sparked one ! Sort of ! I mean added some more hits ! Now it’s a rhythm based move ! You just don’t mash randomly 🥲 like ever did lee’s new 4444 just frame ? If not then try it ! You get it what I’m saying ! And no it’s not that difficult! But more of a rhythm ! And plus you have to be really really fast:3

Can you buffer your side steps or are you on strict timing? This question mainly as a defensive option. For instance you take a move that’s +4 and you know it’s +4 the second the move hits can you tap your SS and it’ll come out at the first available frame or do you have to specifically time it?
No there’s no buffer ! If you’re +4 or -4 ! Once the move hits you you can move ❤️ no need to buffer

i love bryan since T3 the only tekken i played since ps1 release and i jump to T8 and i dont know what you guys talking about its like different language to me all this frames + - combos conters 😆 i played abit with bryan offline i beat the game A.I .super ghost battles i hit max rank but i dont do none of that above i just use somple combos and heavy hits

Great video. But there is a slight confusing part: You talk about that at -5 or above you shouldn't side step. but I see you sidestep king's string at -5 or sidestepping Azucena after her WR 3,2 and it works. Is -5 a weird exception or did I miss something?
now I guess I have to explain the complex part ! As I said from 0 to -4 to +4 I said this for the jabs ! Opponents fastest move ! Now if I’m at -5 and they b1 2 ! B1 2 is 11f fast not 10 so count the frame above 10f if its 11 then -1 frame your minus 5 frames it will be -4 ! And if you’re -7 with bryan ! And opponent do 14f move which is b21 I think it’s b21 so 4f are above 10 ! Minus these 4 frames from your -7 ! Now the area is -3 ! This area from -4 to 0 +4 is called grey area ! And you must be in this area in order to side step !

Well tekken is a 60fps game !
The fastest punch is 10f fast ! Like 1 2 or the string that starts from jabs ! Bryan’s 14 2 3 ! 123 .. 124 121 ! moves have different properties.. some are safe some are plus on block ! And some are punishable ! Example is you did Bryan’s 2 3 at wall to counter hit your opponent ! But he blocked it and it’s -10 ! Your opponent is king and he punish you with b12 which is 11f punish ! Now you were only -10 at -10 if he jabbed you it will hit you ! But he did b12 which is 11f fast ! But you can easily block that move ! Kings b 1 2 is -13 or high ! Instead of punishing you now he will get punished with uf2223 or df21 ! And frame knowledge is must ! Bryan’s 1+2 2 is -14 you can launch if you know you know the numbers but if you don’t you will only jab him ! On other cases you do b1 and opponent blocks it now you get +4 frames means you can do moves that are 14f 13 12 11 and 10 and opponent can’t do anything except block if he press button he gets countered ! And moves that are safe ! In above video you can side step ! Means plan accordingly ! In bryan you punish your opponent and get frame advantage! For example you punish or you hit a move you get 5 frames ! You are 5+ frames and opponent is -5 frame ! If you do df21 which is 13f move ! Subtract those 5 from 13f = 8f ? Now your df21 is 8f fast ! Even if your opponent hits you his fastest move 10f jabs ! It will beat his jabs ❤️ I hope this helps ❤️

Qq when should you sidewalk vs just sidestep? Is it just a hard read or is it always better to sidewalk vs sidestep, cuz i also realized a lot of ppls strings re align them
At close range you side walk ! And at mid range you side step ! Side steps can be taken at close range as well ! You can side step strings ! And you apply side step in your game to traumatize your opponent 🤭 he will hesitate to attack that’s where your aggression comes in ❤️
Amazing guide as always, question in the first clip when you SS the king and do 1,2,1. How do i stop Bryan from doing his SS 1 move, i want to get jab after a SS, but if I input 1 during a SS I ALWAYS get SS 1. Should I be sidewalking and press jab during the walk?
Press forward 1 instead of neutral 1
You probably have to cancel the side step by pressing forward before pressing 1. Similar to b3f cancelling
Side step hold back ! Then do the move ! Or side walk ❤️ no not jabs df2 if bryan and if other character df1 ! Or any other mid !

trying this today but how do you memorize every moves frame data? like how can u memorize whats minus and whats plus, ive been playing for a while i can still only remember big heavy hitting moves that almost everyone knows is punishable. however i dont lab characters so maybe thats why.
When you start reading frame data ! First master for your own character ! Each and every move ! You will sure about that the move I’m going to do has this property ! And then if I hit it I’ll do this and if I gets block I’ll do this ! Plan accordingly ! After you master your own character start reading your opponents character! Now start those characters which you’re facing on daily basis ! I’m not a big nerd! I just confirms it before posting here ! So the data builds with time ! It’s a long process ! I don’t know a lot of characters match up 🥲 I’m still learning 🥺 it will take time brother don’t worry ❤️ btw do lab characters it will be the only way to play confidently !

How do I know when to sidestep walk or just normal sidestep?
You need to side step and range zero and side walk at range 1 ! ❤️

It’s ff1+2 ! In heat ! But if the opponent press any move in between (not low) then this animation will come out ! We can’t just directly input this move 🥺

In t8 you do the jab and the dummy will do the move ! Instead of jabbing ! Check if I can side step after -2 -3 or -4 or -7 ! Now do the moves that are -4 -7 after block respectively! Then side step ! Now check if dummies move can hit you or not ? Or it’s gonna be stepped

The reason the first one didnt hit all bcs azucena hit the wall resetting her position. The 2nd one didnt so all the 3 hit is confirmed on backturned opponent
