Years ago as a Ford dealer technician, if a car came in with a dead battery and keys would not unlock doors, i would jack vehicle up and connect battery booster pack to positive lug on starter and neg cable to frame. Then would just use key fob remote to unlock doors.
On cars that you can access the inside release handle, but hood does not pop up, would pull on handle and hold with one hand and carefully thump on hood with orher hand. most times this would allow hood to pop up.

At 1:28 you showed how to extract the physical key from the fob. I had no idea the key was even there because I bought mine used and thought it was just an electronic fob.
