    I don't remember a team winning a national title undefeated then everyone jumps ship. Death penalty coming? FBI involved for hacking practice film, betting odds messed up allowing huge losses, they were completely corrupt and sold out to win. Other teams lost games, revenue, coaches dismissed, the harm done is immense.

    • @elmerrepeater2781
      @elmerrepeater2781 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Yes, including no Heisman for C.J., who lost the trophy both years in part because of the Michigan losses; Heisman voters had no knoweldge that Michigan knew the plays C.J. was running at them, pre-snap. Proof? C.J. could only put up 23 points against Michigan in 2022, but put up 41 against Georgia a month later. TCU put up only 7 against Georgia two weeks after that, but had managed to score 51 against Michigan two weeks prior. TCU is one of the teams Michigan had not done illegal, advanced, in-person scouting and illegal recording of their play calling on the sidelines (TCU was not on the master spreadsheet the NCAA & B1G has; no tickets purchased with Connor Stalions' credit card for any TCU games). Review: an offense that can score only 7 against Georgia could score 51 against Michigan. C.J. scored not 7, but 41 against Georgia. Conclusion: without Michigan knowing OSU's plays pre-snap, the OSU-Michigan game is a blowout-not just 41 points by OSU v. Michigan, but much more.

      It’s funny too because in the context of discussions about UMich and MSU, Umich fans run their mouths AS IF UMich is and has always been on OSU and Georgia’s level (despite the fact that the only time the program broke through in the past quarter century was concurrent with the most laughable and brazen cheating scandal in contemporary college sports) and MSU is just this punny speck who will never be on UMich’s level because of the recruiting gap (even though Mel f-ing Tucker (!!) managed a winning record against UMich and godking Harbaugh, and Dantonio largely dominated that program and lead the effort in keeping that TCUN in the dumps year after year after year), but when talking about UMich vs OSU, all of a sudden they describe UMich AS IF they are MSU: a modest program whose successes come as a result of superb development of under-the-radar talent. UMich fans are shameless and painfully lacking in self awareness. I’m fine to let them enjoy the remaining few months of being reigning champs-and let’s be real: they ARE champs who fair and square earned the number one ranking by beating teams on the field; they just earned the distinction of being THE ONLY CHAMPION and ONLY PLAYOFF PARTICIPANT whose accomplishment is sullied by (largely needless-why tf are you expending resources to cheat against Indiana???) competition-degrading cheating-a distinction that will remain for eternity while the luster of glory RAPIDLY dissipates.

      @@DavidWilliams-yd4nh What I mean is this: I am completely fine with fanatic fans who think their team’s the best, like you see at Alabama, Clemson, Tennessee, and the like. It's fine to be a great fan of your team. What I see in Michigan fans is very different. It's not only a fanaticism for their team, which is fine, but it's an arrogance that they are above everybody else and superior. This has clearly come out in the response of Michigan's president and Athletic Director (who supported their coach when the allegations and proof of cheating showed up in late October, delivered by the B1G commissioner. There was no concern, no call for an investigation; simply a “we don’t care if our coaches and players did this.”), along with all its coaching staff, and all but one or two Michigan fans with whom I have interacted since the cheating scandal became known. Michigan fans don't consider themselves subject to the rules. Everyone else is a peon, in their view. There is no embarrassment for what the team did. There is no shame, even though the facts of the case are there. I have not heard a single Michigan fan say anything even close to: "I don't think this is true (in ignorance, of course), but if it is true, we owe everybody back their wins. And, I'm embarrassed. This is embarrassing." Nothing remotely like this is ever said. It's more like, “Yes, we cheated, but there's nothing you can do about it." I've had conversations with many Michigan fans along these lines, and this is the arrogance that I see. I tell them, "I have never liked Michigan, but I have always respected them. I no longer respect them, because not only have they cheated to win, but they have shown no remorse over having done so.”

    • @joshk937

      I agree they need to be taken away. Has anyone ever seen a worse year for a team coming off a natty? They don't realize it's going to get alot worse before it gets better. Mich won't be relevant for the next 5-7 years and leaning towards the over lol

    • @buckguy1215
      @buckguy1215 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      I disagree @ammielcoats9762 Post season bans suck, and doesn't mean anything to a program and team that's going to SUCK for a long time and probably not gonna make the playoffs anyway. Which is why they hired "cryin" Moore for their coach, cause they know the next few years aren't going to mean anything for TCUN anyway because they lost all the decent, cheating coaches, and most of the cheating players. Take what they did while CHEATING AWAY 🙏🏼

    • @ammielcoats9762
      @ammielcoats9762 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @buckguy1215 taking away wins doesn't matter as much as you think. Taking bowl bans can set a program back who wants to play for a program that can't compete for a natty. Taking away wins does what? It doesn't affect recruiting cause those recruits weren't there when it happened.

He reminds me also of my one coach I had at grade school level said I will coach you later...and he did and I loved it! I just wished he would of been my coach when I was on varsity cause he knew! Are coach ahead of him at highschool level was out of loop and didn't coach with talent he coached with his son in mind and his class which hurt us bad! I think if I would of played and players with my class instead of holding the class back behind your son's things would of been better and it would of been! Guaranteed! I hate how coaches in past live off there sons and screw the program in the long run! If he would of combined like most I guarantee we would of went to state my junior year in basketball! @@nicholasrostar5020 Here is the issue you have Michigan use “legal” information some of which they obtained by violating NCAA. A rule that was put in place as a cost saver.
      Now there is no real consensus on the information that was obtained and it’s real measurable quantitative value on the outcome of the individual play or game.
      So now you need to figure what games this information was used in then what percent was obtained “legally” vs “illegally”, and of the “illegal” once what percent was a net positive. Then of that net positive what was the actual effect.
      With ASU this is an easier question to answer because it wasn’t the 4th string long snapper but guys who played and have an actual statically measured impact on the outcome of the game.
      So you cannot say they used it in every game, you also cannot argue the impact it had on the games as they won their last 6 games under investigation so we can assume they didn’t use it then.
      Now I’m not saying they didn’t break the rules and shouldn’t be punished I’m saying to what standard? Is it the same as playing ineligible players, would it be the same as hacking into a team or breaking into a building and stealing playbooks? The information they had and how it was used is perfectly within the rules how they obtained some of it is in question.
      It would be like your parents saying you can take all the cookies from your brothers you want from the jar except for Tuesday’s between 3 and 4 because 30 years ago that’s when we washed the jar.
