1 hour without removing the tank... today. My first time. CR9E IX that i put in. You don't talk about gaping the spark plug? Thanks By the way, I've got 960000km on it..with off-road riding as well. Still solid.
Any advise for the better cooling product? I've made a flush with a product. After that, i put distilled water to flush the circuit... i live in the north, so, i need a -35C. Liquid cooling for storage in winter. My Triumph dealer said that any type of Liquid cooling product outhere is ok. Thanks
What would you say is a better bike. 2017 tiger 1200xcx or 2014 bmw 1200 GS. Im looking at both. like both. both have low miles. 11 KM on the beemer and 14k on the triumph
@TheOldMechanic very difficult choice. My heart says triumph. But my logic says gs being that I live very far from a dealer. In fact both dealers are a little over 12 hours away from me. It will probably be better to get the gs due to the fact that it's easier to work on
@@milesdavis8665 What I personaly like about the GS is that you have a shaft drive, instead of a chain. The GS is most of the time easy to work on as a mechanic. Sparkplug change, airfilter change, oil filter change, valve play inspection are all things thats easy to do on a GS.

You bet! 👍🏻👊🏻😉
Thank you! I was just going to start removing the cowling and I found your video, which helped me very much. Again, thanks. Mike
Is it too weird that after a stressful day I watch this along with a vodka to relax?
Yes 👍👍😂
So much help! Thanks! Any advice on how to get the rubber end of the coil out? 2 stayed on the sparkplugs.
Try with a piece of copper wire...
Well done! Thank you for the instructional video my friend.
You are welcome!

They are factory set 😉
In the nkg web site... the gaping is .32 std an they say .29 for the tiger-800 ?

@TheOldMechanic indeed it is. But I love that tiger 1200 as well 😆.
@@TheOldMechanic fortunately the tiger is shaft drive as well. And the maintenance intervals are farther apart.
how many (km) are they replaced
Bravo!!
Thanks mate
