@@kgamesnyc It would not work in the slightest, at least as an actual game of hide & seek, but it would be content.
@@kgamesnyc My first thoughts with this too! You would have to seriously balance out the options a lot better and playtest a ton to make fair controls however. I thought it might be funny to roll a wheel to have a specific hiders' chat do controls for all players, or you could just have each individual chat control that player. Would be the ultimate chaos.

I swear the mod community in super Mario Odyssey can honestly use willing streamers to fund making a full fledged game with the sole purpose of videos like these. Imagine a game designed to have hide and seek, Speedrun challenges, and funnily wonky gameplay

i've watched lots of your videos recently, including the one with the banned Mario Odyssey speedruns. And I thought about it: What could be other stupid ideas for a speedrun, even if some of the banned ones weren't actually that bad. And i came up with shieldncap%. It's a challenge that is very annoying to beat, but the further you are in the run, the faster it gets. You can only use the mechanics the game tells you, as in the beginning with jump an look around or walk (also throwing cappy). Its also possible to look at these little hint-shields (imma call them like this) or when cappy tells you something on the way to another kingdom in the odyssey.
The rules are simple:
1. You have to reset the whole run (or go back to your last safe if thats too much) if you use a mechanic you haven't learned.
2. You are able to combine mechanics such as jump and groundpound (excluding triple jump, idk makes it a little more difficult).
3. You can make this more difficult with a no death challenge or something like that.

Now do this but hide and seek. Spin a wheel for a random hiders' chat to control the world (within reason, of course. This may take some testing to develop fair controls) every few minutes instead of the typical hint. Could be really really fun and really really chaotic!

I think it would be helpful if the mod displayed onscreen (or maybe just on the stream) what effects people do. Not like, the entire time the effect is active, but have it pop up when a person redeems the effect.

This whole video was a hoot and a half
It would be really cool if this worked similar to how the GTA 5 chaos mod works. It gives a couple randomly selected options from the list of effects and assigns them numbers that the chat can vote on using a proportional voting system. This let's all of chat vote and interact and gives a better experience when watching because you can predict what the next effect is, at least in my opinion!
One way to do this would be "reset changes" would be cheapest and never go up in price. Each time something is done, the price of them all goes up a bit.
This was hilarious to begin with, but when 22:14 happened, I just couldn't help cracking up. (Yes, I do realize that the phrase "cracking up" was a poor word choice.)
