Its not exactly worse though, his power was just shifted elsewhere, mightiness is easier to maintain and it makes wearing marble suits and piggybacks viable now

Tank Deerclops with 1 marble suit, problem solved =)
temp camp in swamp, let tentacles kill deer clops, steal eye and meat before spiders and fecking run xD works good enough for first year deer clops for me
I have a hard time with the regular ass spiders this is like watching Jesus walk on water

Love using Deerclops to lumberjack for me now a days I won't lie
I think you should do an all cheese, all luck speedrun where you don't purposefully nerf yourself. (ancient guardian cheese, using low-drop rate items, etc.)

Yeah, I too find this a lil' unfair... to himself ;D even if you don't need that much inventory space, you can just make one less chest and have more boat patches or something, idk not a DST expert here ;D but hey, use that RNG if you can (not specifically about the crampy ballsack) save time, we'd love to see you improve, your speedruns /w commentary are so entertaining and impressive!
I think it’s mainly just to level the playing field, there’d be people out there saying that he only got such a fast speed because he used the krampus sack (which wouldn’t be true, it’s not really advantageous in a speedrun), so it’s more worth it just to leave it. In a regular run that isn’t being uploaded to hundreds of thousands of people, I think anyone would take the sack, however that isn’t the case here

FYI: The terrarium only goes dormant after skipping a night with the twins of terror. Normally, if you skip a night after the (singular) eye of terror, it won't go on break for 15 days.

This might be faster since it's basically constant mightyness. By the way, hunger scales the mightyness meter, and you should try marble suits, they're really good with reworked wolfgang since he doesn't get slowed down.
Edit note: Hunger actually scales how much mightyness you get by a VERY little bit. (with that, i mean like, 0,25 less.)
yeah I wonder if marble suiting would help tank better? dunno.
You are talking to a kiting player and telling him that the rework is faster? He would take the 25% speed boost anytime of the week over the marble suit. Also farming marble only would slow the run.

They also buffed his mining, chopping and hammering speed too tho.
@@jalilsadeq5587 ahem, he's still faster while carrying marble pieces, can use the piggyback with no downside and can also get gears faster due to ruin rushing. so, it is faster in some aspects

i will never get bored of rewatching ur all bosses runs even if u reupload them with slight changes, seeing u do stuff with different characters, maybe rules, doesnt matter, all is fun :D
It basically removed everything confusing like you have to heal before going mighty its just if you are mighty you deal double damage if not you are at default damage

I’m definitely not as good as you are, but one thing I did find helpful:
Only use the golden dumbell when mighty. When you are normal or wimpy, the golden and gem dumbbell both increase mightiness by 2 per lift. When mighty, the gem continues to do two while the gold is lowered significantly. That means the most efficient thing to do is to use the golden dumbell when normal or wimpy and then switch to the gem dumbell when mighty.

I use to struggle on don't stave its like Minecraft + shadow of Collosus +darksouls + fnaf so the fact this game can be breezed through is the funniest thing I've seen in ages

I want to see a speedrun with like 4 people, I think it'd be interesting to see the strategies employed if everyone had to play different characters.

Wow, I've played don't starve since its beta as single player game, and I remember when Wolfgang released as he was totally busted, he simply had the attack damage bonus just out of box, and his only drawback was that he lost more sanity than a regular character, and I used to thought they killed him after the first rework lol
I really want to speed run bosses, but didn’t do all the bosses yet. But I want to try and do runs seems like a lot of fun. I’ll just watch these videos maybe that’ll help me find the most optimal boss plan. Idk I’ve never speedrun before lol anyways just want to say you brought this amazing game to light for me thanks a lot now I’m addicted lol been watching you since your RuneScape guides and I’m glad the algorithm brought your duo speed run bosses on my feed.

this is an insane run as allways my favorite boss is obviesly ancient fuelweaver but the twin terrors are the runner ups
Pretty impressive! I have also killed some bosses with new Wolfy, and I think he is better than before. He is also a lot more interesting and fun to play with

@@Awesum You have to consider more things before going into a boss fight. Things are not as simple as in the old days when you could just eat to full mighty. I also love how his mighty form is useful outside of combat, that made him more versatile, plus he is a lot more consistent with being mighty
@@owl4356 I respect that view. I still think he is weaker and brings less utility personally..he was more useful in mighty before out of combat than now. The speed cut travel time in half...and at it's core..this game is a time management simulator lol.

Btw if you equip the bone armor for the boomshrooms you won't really have to move at all (other than spore thingy though) ... more dps less long and frustrating

There are 3 types of dumbells, the normal one, the golden dumbell, and the gembell
You can also replace the potato sacks on the gym for heavier stuff, the best being boss statues
Also while your mighty, you can also throw the three aformentioned dumbells, the better it is, the more damage it deals
15:00 this is how you should react when you find the statue
Best part is the fact he keeps saying "per oh gee"
I love how spazmatism is the annoying thing killed first in both games

@@Jakeyosaurus Yeah, knock him down is what I meant. You can pull it off way easier now. People planning on longer worlds can even use the opportunity to use the free drop and get a quick Scalemail, rendering the fight itself easier.
@@zeeb2190 If you can deal enough damage fast enough, you can knock Dragonfly down in order to attack her. She'll drop a scale as a reward. Normally this only happens when your playing with others in order to deal that much damage, but Wolfgang at double damage (and maybe with the help of some spicy food from Warly) can achieve that just fine.
