man those views are just beautiful, but things are always more scenic from the view of a freight train. Hobo Shoestring (RIP) once said that Alaska is the most difficult state to train hop in without getting caught.
We waited for three days in Anchorage before they were finally able to catch it in Fairbanks 😭

Although I don't support this I have to say you did a great job covering the trip. I have to laugh everything time you or your buddy climb on top of the car reminds of a time one guy did that right as the train passed through a high car detector and it detected him on the car as a excessive height car the crew knew they didn't have any cars like that and in the end he got caught. stay safe on the rails.
