I have minimal interest in fashion but when I saw that colored art of the young Sakamoto, Rion, and Nagumo sitting on a bench wearing streetwear I just recognize those three are stylish as heck. There is also this image of Order members Shishiba, Sakamoto, and Nagumo riding the train just sitting there while wearing full suits with winter coat and I was thinking "Damn, these assassins look classy".

I just have to address that originally when I filmed this, I was going for a video that was like ‘THE BIGGEST REASON I LOVE SAKAMOTO DAYS!’ But changed it to what it is now, so if there’s a lead up to me talking about the character design that’s why haha.

Yeah, the fashion that suzuki draws is definitely underappreciated but so is this manga in general. Can't wait for the anime to hopefully get this masterpiece the attention it deserves.

Even the manga cover is very good and detailed
it's no wonder why yuto suzuki draws the way he does, with the evolution of his art style over the (near to, atm) 4 years of sakamoto day's serialization and from his early works with his one-shot mangas. especially considering his influences and the mangakas he looks up to, like takehiko inoue, known for slam dunk and vagabond. he also enrolled in tokyo university of the arts, one of the most prestigious art schools in japan. but anyway, great video!

Thanks for talking about this. I love Sakamoto Days. My first manga series ever bought. Growing up in the 90s I fell in love wit anime but this series once I checked it out I got hooked.

I usually yap to my friend about the importance of drip and fashion in sakadays and how I fear it wont be translated well in the anime. Every characters fashion choice reflects their personality and fighting style. Shin and Nagumo has the best fashion. Shin shoe game and Nagumos suits are 🔥

Well I said in the video that it was a video I abandoned back in November but the anime got me hype again to come back and finish it that’s all. I got a copyright strike for another SakaDays vid around then so I was kind of scared to finish this video
Dude stop gatekeeping, its already hard enough for women to get into shonen bc of shonen meat heads accusing us of only being into it for a fad. Making content is hard, and I could see how someone's spark for a piece could be relit by an anime adaptation being announced!
