Hey Chris. Excellent list. I love and own all of the Elizabeth and James. I often remind people that as tastes change sometimes prices change too. So what was expensive one day may not be the next. My introduction to perfume started at an early age as well. As the youngest child I got to smell everything.
I was obsessed with perfume since a wee girl. I LOVED one of my Grams fragrances by Avon called Lahana which she ended up giving to me since i sprayed it as if she had an never ending supply. My grandfather bought Muget du Bois for me for Xmas maybe around 10ish.With my own allowance or gifts I remember my first purchases being Baby Soft, Avon Lahana, Loves Lemon, Loves Soft musk, Electric Youth, Downtown Girl and Tribe and Sand and Sable.
I am same way, most of my life no extra funds, but now I can splurge , just got Memo Sentra and Initio side affect, can’t wait for them to arrive, I tell myself when I retire I will have all my perfumes, I did get girl in Capri after your recommendation and really liked it
I’ll take it! I could swim in my pool . Labor Day weekend it’s rained this whole time (minus two hours on Saturday night when I filmed). Then it’s in the 70s next week…pools will be like ice. But if you live somewhere where it’s hot all of the time…I can understand it gets old. 😉❤️

Oh Julija loves I love love. I remember her telling everyone to do themselves a favour and buy that one as a good refreshing one for warmer weather. Someone recommended a girl in Capri to me the other day. I never tried any Lanvin fragrances. I love lemon meringue pie, that's the dessert that makes people go oooh when you put it in the table. I miss Vanitas, stupid name, but nice fragrance ☺️

Some days I love beast mode but there definitely are some days when I want to smell light and nice . I think it’s important to have a wide range in a collection.
Hi Chris🌻 Elizabeth and James fragrances are discontinued gems. Nirvana Amethyst is the only one I have as a perfume mist, but I've gone through numerous bottles of dry shampoo in the scents Black, White, Rose and Bourbon. I also have Nirvana Black in body oil and perfume oil forms and it's my favorite scent in this line. Oscar Lavender is my all time favorite bedtime fragrance due to it's calming, soft and delicate scent. I also have Oscar Gold and I used it in the summer because it's a citrucy vanilla freshie which is very beautiful but doesn't last at all, however I paid very little for a giant bottle, so I overspray with abandon! 😆
I love them all. You can still find the easily for peanuts. I just looked of BF.CA and all are in the 20$ range. Such a shame. If I was the crazy hoarder I was last year, I would buy back ups of them all. 😉❤️
Well…I jumped the fence and film poolside when my neighbor is at work. 😂😂No…it’s my pool…but it’s a pain in the arse to keep up. Pools are fun but good golly they are high maintenance! 🤦♀️😂

I’m the same. I’d rather a perfume be lighter in the hot weather than overpowering. I’ve decluttered two perfumes I liked because I sprayed too much on a hot day. There’s no going back once you get hot weather perfume nausea! 🤦♀️
CK One Gold is also compared to L'Artisan Caligna which I adore for summer, so its going on my "buy" list along with Presence d'Une Femme. Great lineup!
Awesome Paula! I smelled Caligna years ago in Chicago and I remember liking it but I want to say CK One Gold is a little more citrusy? But if it’s comparable that’s awesome because it’s really cheap! 😂😂And Presence is so underrated!!!!

I love Nirvana Amethyst... I want to try all of the rest of the range, you might be mixing up the grey maybe with the lavender. I'd really love to sample bourbon and black.
Most of these don't have good longevity, which is important to me, so I would just save my 50 bucks until I could buy a perfume that was worth it to me. The only one I have of this list is Rose Extase, which I find to be a comforting summer scent. I forgot to wear it this summer but I kinda didn't want to maybe, because it was my summer comfort scent during Covid lockdown summer. Waiting on you "top" list!
Those Oscar de la renta fragrances were everywhere at one point, now they are getting hard to find here... Lavender and midnight amber are the ones that get talked about most I think.
