- This is a video Marcie & I (Marcelena Theresa) thought would be fun since we are both in health care & usually try and wear perfumes that are easy to like and as inoffensive as possible. So we chose 10 fragrances that fit that category and one "naughty" perfume (not a good choice to wear to work). Thanks for watching and see you next time!

Yess! Cause sometimes you want to be that person! My number one is the original (1st ) Alien before it got to Loreal. My boss hates it, husband hates it, mum says I smell like bug spray - I do not care a single bit 🤣 Got 3 bottles before it got reformulated 💃🏼

This was an enjoyable video Chris. I think it's not really an official policy everywhere in Canada that you can't wear scent. However I think certain places have individual scent policies. While our health care is public, provinces operate independently to administer health care. It could be difference in each provincial region. Scent is allowed in most places. It's smoking that is band almost everywhere that is public. - Jenn
Ah. I remember in the comments here and on IG having a long chat with a woman from Canada who said scent was banned in public places , she gave me the specific example of a the public library. I thought that would be very hard to enforce that policy countrywide so it makes sense it could be on a more local or Provincial scale! 👍🏻❤️

Great choices. My "I literally don't know anyone who hates this" scent is Sweet Honesty. It is like background the scent, but it is comforting too somehow. Even my perfume hating Grandma tolerated Sweet Honesty.

Wood sage and sea salt is signature scent worthy. Clean and quiet. Not a loud one or long lasting, I agree.

Delina la rosee is my favourite, layering it with the oil and body cream helps it to project and add some longevity.
Chris!! I also work in healthcare and at our primary sites, it’s a scent-free environment and that’s a torture! Since COVID, I have worked across multiple kind of outreach sites and I’m free to be me and I take full advantage. If I’m being honest, even when I’m heading to our primary sites, I’ll wear those scents I love with terrible performance, that’ll be worn out by the time my 1.5 hour commute is over. Can’t help it! Really enjoyed this!! Thank you! ✌🏼🕺🏼♥️

Gosh, another awesome poolside video! I too work in healthcare. What a great video idea? What can you recommend as an alternative to Gris Dior? I just cannot justify the price tag. I bought Trussardi Donna on your recommendation but sadly, it ended up on Mercari because it just didn't last on me. Love ya, Chris!!!
Hi Heather!!! I wonder if they sell that one in the smaller size (1.3 ounce?) . Unfortunately nothing comes close to it IMO. I went over to fragrantica to see what others thought and I can tell you…the ones that are supposed to be similar ARE NOT. 😂😂.Do not blind buy Gris Dior.
I've worked remotely for the past 2.5 years, but when I did work in an office J'Adore Dior and Guerlain Idylle were my go-to inoffensive scents. From your list I've worn Trussardi Donna, Fleur Narcotique (both 👍) and Wood Sage & Sea Salt and Bal d'Afrique (both 👎-- I sometimes have respiratory issues with vetiver.) I'm looking forward to trying the rest, especially Gris Dior, which sounds like my style. Thanks for the reviews!

I love this style of fragrance - pleasantly noticeable, easy to wear and still make a beautiful statement. I’m still sampling Delina La Rosee but so far it’s one of the most modern and wearable light rose fragrances I’ve encountered. 💗 Trussardi Donna has been on my list for ages since one of my easy reaches is Unknown Pleasures and I adore a sweet citrus. 💛

Hello there!!! Thank you…the darker color on the bottom is actually my natural color. I think. Who knows what my color is now! But I usually only get partial highlights at my crown so it’s accidental ombré and I didn’t notice it until you pointed it out! 😁😂😂❤️

My first dive into Delina was with the Delina Exclusif. After listening to you, I am looking forward to using it during the colder weather. For now, I am trying to convince myself to like it. My first response was, "it smells like an old lady." My boyfriend, however, seemed to like it. My boss, however, without any input from me, said the exact same thing. "It smells like an old lady." So, for now, I am not impressed with Delina at all. I own a bit of everything, from lower end, to designer, to niche/luxury fragrances. Honestly, the one that I get the most compliments on, and the one that I enjoy the most, is Estee Lauder's Pleasures Intense. I have found it impossible to locate the Gris Dior to purchase but would really love to get that one. I loved this video. Thank you, and thank you for taking care of those in need. It takes a person with a real heart for people to do what you do.
Hello there!!! Lol! Listen…Never try and make yourself love a perfume. Move on to the next one or stay with something you love! Too many perfumes out there!! Plus they are expensive! It should be a like, strong like or love!!
Delina Exclusif sends my coworkers (all of whom happen to be 30s or younger ) into a tizzy. They love it. Isn’t that funny but I don’t wear it super often because of that strong vanilla. I have one coworker in her 40s…it’s “ok” to her .😉❤️

BTW, after your description of Fleur Narcotica in the Wedding Fragrances video, I splurged and got it. I'm absolutely in love-it is the best fragrance I think I've ever smelled.

Donna smells like pencil shavings on me. By the time it dries down, there's no citrus, no florals, JUST pencil shavings. It reminds me so much of Zadig and Voltaire's This is Her. I think I'm the only person who smells that in that one. Weird, eh?

For once I own a few of your suggestions! 🥳😆 Wood sage is definitely one I put on when I want to smell good in public! I work from home now and I can wear what I want when I want but I remain careful when I have to go to an appointment for instance.

Well I guess I’m gonna be “that person” now and say I hated one of these 😂🙊 Unfortunately one of your favorites, Gris Dior smells veryy mature on my skin 😩 My boyfriend at the time when I tried this straight up told me I smelled like a 👵🏼. But I know the majority of people agree with you and it’s a very loved perfume!! I honestly think it just didn’t work with my chemistry. All of the other picks I totally agree with!! great topic! 😄

I would add some of my picks such as: Nomade by Chloe, Eau de Merveilles for summer (blue) by Hermes, Romance by Ralph Lauren, Riviera by Ex Nihilo, Iris Porcelana by Ex Nihilo, In love with the cocos by Fugazzi. I am going on Holiday in 2 days and I have no idea what fragrance I should take with me. Gris Dior is definitely having a moment. 😂 I think also some patchouli switched for oakmoss can be termed chypres, I think the definition has loosened over time. I find it confusing, maybe cos of the oakmoss crisis? Not sure.

Always always always gets me complimented: Be Delicious & Be Delicious Blossom. I figure they are hard to hate if they always get compliments. They are both fruity clean (shampooey). I suppose that’s why most people like them. Even people that I know HATE perfume compliment me with those.

Nice list! I'm very interested in the Chloe Sevigny Little Flower but I haven't seen it anywhere?? I had surgery a few months ago and the recovery nurse smelled so bad! I asked what she was wearing and I think I remember her saying something about mixing Amazing Grace & Clinique Happy... I was not happy about it!!
Omg! Yes if I worked in recovery room or oncology etc I would have to be very very careful. When I was pregnant I was 100% scent free…I couldn’t stand perfume. So bizarre! 😉

Amazing choices! I love so many of these 🤍 WS&SS is one of my all time favourites and although it doesn’t last long as we know, while it lasts, it projects all around me and I catch frequent whiffs consistently ☺️ And yes the body cream is just incredible! 🥰🥰 I took Au thè Blanc with me on a trip with my sister last week and I never smelled it on myself once.. I even tried overspraying and I just couldn’t detect it! Argh 😣 (it’s lovely tho) Whenever I hear anyone talk about Trussardi Donna I instantly crave wearing/smelling it.. It’s so good! I’m already perfumed up for the day, but if this one doesn’t last long I’ll be reaching for Donna this afternoon for sure! ✨✨✨

@@ThePerfumeNest OK I’m just looking at my bottle and it says “eau parfumée au thé blanc”, and then on the other side it says eau de cologne! maybe that’s why.. I can’t tell what year it is.. probably could look up the batch # on the bottom 🤓
