I used 2 cans on my 2000 f150. 4.6 yesterday. Took about 25 minutes start to finish. I have driven about 75 miles since. I absolutely have a much better throttle response. The idle is staying solid about 700, it has not idled steady in years.

This stuff does work very well. I would like to mention though, that if you do not have a high mileage vehicle ( I do ) it should be used at regular intervals early on to prevent the buildup of contaminants and keep your engine clean, rather than waiting to remove 100,000miles worth of it.

I use carb cleaner works good and that engine light he had on is easy to shut off. Just disconnect the battery for few minutes then reconnect that engine light should be gone

You also want to make sure the engine is well up to operating temperature before you start and when you blow it out on the highway!! Red hot moderate RPM (lower gear) aids in burnoff of carbon.

O2 sensor? I think you are referring to the intake air temp sensor.
Air Intake Sensor would be correct. An error on my part.
I've used it for an engine degreaser for about 10 years! best I've found!!
I use Berryman B-12 about every other fill up. Helps big time..

Great video! Will doing this help my IAC valve? I have a ‘04 Expedition and it’s hard to get to and I’m really not sure if it’s bad. I do have idle issues though. This looks like it may help.
It is possible that Amsoil Power Foam would remedy the IAC valve as there is a small plunger that moves back and forth and it may have restricted movement due to buildup of contaminants.

alright using 2 cans of power foam and an 18 pack we now dont know where we are at and have a handful of bolts randomly left over...just hook it all up and boom works ford tough.
World War 1 tank mechanics were taught to park the tank in the tallest grass possible before beginning the repair. Once finished with their repair, there was no extra parts.

Do an oil and oil filter change. Your oil is blowing by your rings and coming into the intake. This could be because of old oil, old oil filter, or worn out rings. I'd hope it's old oil.
Why disconnect the sencors to spray in intake?
Philip Regenold I realize this is an old comment but sometimes you have to disconnect the sensors or the vehicle won't even stay running. Especially when you have a Mass Air Flow sensor. The ECU will think there is no air entering the engine and will overly lean out the fuel mixture until it won't even run. Hopefully this helps.

Sounds like a gummed up idle control valve to me. Very easy fix and common.
***** ericgrau123 cleaned out the idle control valve and throttle body. Runs much better now, thanks guys.

SOMEBODY PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION? What if I lose the red straw from the spray can into the intake? Where does it go and do I need to disassemble the intake to get it out? I've LOST MY STRAW and cannot find it which leads me to believe its in the engine, seriously its no joke, this is the type of crap I deal with every day.

Nobody will either. As Forrest said "Stupid is as stupid does" The straw is not needed really. Anyone sucking air into the engine with a straw adapter is asking for trouble. NO You do not need to disassemble the intake cause you will not find it anyway. Drive it to the nearest Dealer and trade it in FAST!!!!!
3 years too late, but i'll answer you anyway.... if its the same make and model truck you will most likely be ok to leave it. Air moves past the throttle body and straight down into a rectangle well. off to either sides there are 8 intake holes going straight up to then make a u turn to go back down into the cylinders. your straw is most likely down at the bottom of this well (or at the 90 degree angle of the throttle body) and is sitting happily down there for ever. even if it could get picked up and forced into one of the intake holes, it still has to make a sharp u turn. sharper than the straw could maneuver through. if it was me and my truck id leave it and feel confident. if its not a 5.4 Triton v8 than you should look up a diagram of your air intake manifold and think it over.... orrrrrrr. just remove the intake manifold and fish the straw out. couple hours of work, you get your straw back. defiantly not a difficult task on a triton, just take lots of before pictures so you know were everything lives.

Should be better if you remove the throttle body and clean it out side, because your going to damage the catalyst and oxygen sensors.

This is a gimmick. They think that seeing the smoke coming out the exhaust means the engine is being cleaned. Of course it's smoking, you are spraying shit into the intake!

The Amsoil power foam does work. Amsoil oil puts out a top quality product from a top quality company. I use Amsoil in everything I have. Motor oil, gear oil, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, engine coolant. The list goes on and the results don't lie

It is possible that a dirty throttle body is affecting the ability for the correct amount of air to enter the engine.

Driving the car you can tell right away. My snowblower has a consistent idle now thanks to this stuff.

I have a 1997 Ford Expedition,
4.6 Engine and it failed emissions recently for insufficient egr flow. I replaced the egr valve, solenoid and pressure sensor. Engine light stayed off for 50 miles when I replaced the egr valve only. When I replaced the other two items on the engine, the engine light returned at 18 miles.
I was just wondering if this in indicative of anything.
My next step is to go over all the vacuum hoses and remove the egr valve and clean out the intake manifold egr port with a brush and shop vac.
Is their anything I can spray directly into the intake manifold to help clean it ? I was hoping there is some type of cleaner to help break down carbon etc in the manifold if ultimately that is the problem.
Removal of the intake manifold is something I don’t want to tackle because of my schedule. I have my own business and work six days a week.
Please advise, and thank you in advance.

No I'm confused well I mean ok so everytime we try to start the car it always makes a loud noise and I'm trying to figure out what that is
What does the noise sound like (squeal, clunk, click, etc)?

@@InsaneOil My engine will not run with this disconnected. I had to put it loosly on using a Seafoam kit. Pull it off. it dies. I'm dumbfounded as to how this worked for you in the video.
@@InsaneOil Pulling it off it dies. It changes the air flow? When using seafoam kit the straw goes in and then you slide it over the straw. It dies when removing it. Maybe with someone to crank it one may can keep mine running. I have no help.

If by it works you mean it makes it smoke and its cool to watch the pretty smoke, I'd say yep it works. But if you mean it works because you say it cleans the intake system I'd disagree. There is no evidence this does anything more than clean a little oily film off the throttle body. This stuff passes by the valves so fast there's no way it could clean anything especially carbon deposits.

I have conducted the theoretical research on this product prior to using it on my vehicles and have validated my hypothesis through my own empirical research. I highly encourage all viewers of my videos to conduct their own research on any of the products that I utilize in my own vehicles. Additionally, if any of the claims made by Amsoil (the manufacturer) were false I am pretty sure they would have been sued back to the stone age long ago.
My 98 dies if all the air tubing is not connected. Maybe because my sensors are connected?

Lol I've watched a lot of these videos and I do mean a lot cuz I have some issues. It took some time to understand and figure out exactly what's what . But when you use chemicals like this and the other aspects of what's inside ports around the corner of the throttle body etc you're not really doing anything. And if you pay the mechanic to do this you've just pissed away your heart medicine as far as I'm concerned.
I would have liked to put an endoscope down the throttle body before and after, but I did not have that available at the time of filming. As far as the claims that the product works, I suppose if it didn't do what it claims to do, then the manufacturer would have be sued a long time ago. I have an 04’ F-150 with an electronic throttle body and it fuckn sucks ass. I can’t use this kind of foam bcz it will stall and turn off on me
Best solution is to have someone in the cab regulating the throttle with the pedal.

Actually, what I called the Oxygen Sensor is the Air Intake Sensor. It was an simple verbiage error on my part while I was recording (as noted in multiple comments that I have already responded to) Unfortunately, I have no way of updating the video once it is posted to TH-cam, thus I can only respond to people criticizing my error.
